After 2 weeks both my machines are making periodic groaning noises each machine is at a different location so I can not believe they need cleaning g this soon. Makes great ice but…. Xx

The ice maker is super efficient, and fairly quiet (as loud as a super efficient dishwasher when running). It is very compact and easy to use. I only use purified water in it to make ice to avoid descaling every two weeks, and it runs great.

The product is really simple to set up even with the initial cleaning process. It takes about 60 mins from unboxing ,cleaning and filling the unit and you should have ice dropping if you follow the steps diligently.

Love the pebble ice, so easy to use and maintain. Quiet and not too big on the counter. Makes tons of ice before having to add water. Great great product!!!!!

I researched and waited a very long time before I bought an ice maker. I am loving it! It makes perfect ice all day long. Being able to have it on a schedule so it doesn't run at night is helpful. Highly recommend!

We have one, and I've bought one for several friends and family members. The Opal is a great little machine. Use distilled water and it'll never give you any issues.

Love the icemaker, however, do not love the fact I have to give a phone number that automatically grants GE express consent to contact me, just to register my product.

I like the ice maker but am having an issue with a squeaking noise contacted customer service and followed their procedures and suppose to be sending me a replacement we will see how the second one preforms when I get it in?

The ice is fantastic and it's a great product, the only issue is that it squeaks when it makes ice. Very annoying so I only run it at night when we are sleeping. Other than that it's great and I definitely recommend it!

I really like the way this machine operates and makes Ice. I like chewing on ice and having softer nuggets saves my teeth. The machine is easy to use, relatively easy to clean and by setting up a schedule, it makes Ice when I need it!
