We're sorry to hear about your Opal not producing ice. We'd like to help out with this. We recommend trying out a full electronic reset combined with a full cleaning of the unit. The reset can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in. Hello- We are glad to hear you loved your Opal and want to help you continue to love it and use it daily. We are sorry that you are having this issue and want to help! The message you are getting is a sign that your machine needs to be descaled. Follow the instructions in your manual, soaking for 18 hours and then running through a full rinse cycle. Note: Cleaning instructions will vary depending on which model Opal you own.
