I've been wanting one of these portable ice machines for years. I did my due diligence with my research and this is the one that topped most. The machine is very quiet and makes the perfect chewable ice that I crave. I look forward to come home from working outside in Southwest Florida to enjoy a big cup of the ice everyday. It's probably the best purchase I've made in years. I highly recommend this ice maker. You won't be disappointed.

I am so happy I got this. Now I don't have to go to my daughters house and steal ice from her !! Her husband bought her one for Christmas !! We got addicted to this kind of ice when she was in the hospital having my grandbaby twins ! Thanks so much for making such a great product we can have at home to enjoy !!

Overall the product works exactly as expected. Easy to understand and operate. The only thing that baffles me is why you would have to pay extra to add the side tank on when it should be standard because even with the side tank we're constantly having to refill. Maybe we just drink a lot (just two of us).

I find it absolutely ridiculous that you can't control when you want ice to be made and when you don't. Every time you open and close the bucket to get ice it Automatically starts making more ice even though you don't need it and starts dripping water into the bucket ultimately melting all the ice it's made for the past hour. Side tank is faulty and will randomly stop giving water to the machine

As an absolute fan of nugget ice we decided to get the 2.0 to replace our sadly broken first generation Opal. The improvements are great such as the side water tank and non leaking front drawer but it's still a pain to clean and takes up a ton of counter space but we will put up with it for that delicious nugget ice!

Bought the product for my husband because he's one of those that has to have tons of ice with all his drinks (even if his drink is already cold). He absolutely loves it. He loves the ice size and is a complete fan now. Now my refrigerator ice-maker won't have to struggle keeping up with supply and demand from my husband's obsession with ice.

Love my GE ice machine, I bought another brand previously and it broke down in less than a year. The GE is much quieter, the water tank is bigger and the ice is softer to chew. I should have bought this one from the beginning. You will not regret this purchase.

I bought the model with the side water tank. It was easy to set up and I was making ice in no time at all! As soon as I remove ice from the full bin, it automatically starts making ice again. I'm not longer a slave to my broken ice maker in the refrigerator! Highly recommended!!!

A friend of ours had the first version and I saw it and had to have it! Very sleek and stylish! I also had to have the ice at home from our favorite southern food chain - Chick Fil A! I was worried after reading some reviews - but have been totally satisfied. It makes a lot of ice for its small size, keeps up with demand, and makes ice quickly in our opinion. I love the water tank feature. I was worried about the noise after reading some reviews, but it definitely doesn't bother us. I would expect there to be some level of noise with a machine, but it is quiet in our opinion. We love it! If your on the fence, buy it! You won't regret it!

We love our new nugget ice maker. Only issue is refilling the side tank, it can be messy. You have to be very careful when you flip the tank back in to the water tank. If there is too much water left in the tank, it goes everywhere. Can be a bit noisy, but only when making ice - this does not bother us much.
