I was at a dear friend's house having cocktails and she had this new Ice Maker. When I got home I forgot to get the info on it. After contacting her back, I order one for our home bar. This is the bomb-diggaddy. Perfect for our hosting of socials and small occasions. I love the WiFi feature and instantly set up a schedule for it to run in the evenings. The unit is so easy to unbox, setup and configure. Cleaning was a breeze as well. Love the unit.

The ice maker makes awesome nugget ice, and does so fairly quickly, to use as drinking ice for our family of 5. It's pretty loud and the defrost cycle runs quite often though. On top of that we regularly have had ice come in the consistency of shaved ice, which the kids love but is quite annoying when you're expecting pellets. Overall we like it, but wonder at times if our specific unit is a dud due to the shaved ice situation.

i gave my wife the Opal nugget ice maker for her birthday and she absolutely LOVES it. I have to refill the side water holder at least once a day. The nuggets are all soft, perfectly formed little gems that she loves. If you like to chew on ice, consider the Opal to really enjoy nibbling on these soft nuggets.

Once you sort out setup and how to drain/clean up, this item is complete perfection! We put it on our registry as a ‘wishlist' item and we couldn't be happier that a dear friend purchased it for us. We LOVE the size of the ice and the unit itself is super sleek and fits in perfection on our bar.

We love the ice this little machine produces. It does not happen at rocket speed but it has managed to keep up with my household of four (two adults and two kids) and other visiting friends. It's compact and fits nicely on the countertop. My only complaint is that our machine is loud. It may be just this particular one or all of them I don't know. But definitely recommend it.

I love this machine. Quick to make. Easy to use and install. It always makes more than enough so i bag it up and when we have luncheons at work i bring a few gallon bags into work and everyone goes crazy for it because it is "chewy ice". Honestly i can say this is one of the best buys i have done recently.

Only been a month but so far so good the Wi-Fi features are handy when coming home from vacation. The light and cosmetics are great and go with our other kitchen products. The ice is the perfect sonic nugget ice exactly what my wife was looking for and hope that the longevity is as good as the looks.

I loved this machine in the beginning. I clean it and descale it regularly. However after 18 months it wont stop making a screeching noise. I have purchased descalers, water filters, all of the recommended products and it wont stop making noise. GE needs to build this better and make it more cleaning friendly or provide a better warranty

I am in love. This is the best ice maker and worth every penny. I previously purchased a less expensive ice maker, while decent you definitely get what you pay for. As a birthday gift to myself I purched this ice maker. I use it everyday and absolutely love it.

I got this ice maker about 2 weeks ago after being tired of my refrigerator ice maker always freezing up. I am loving this! Makes delicious ice. I use the water from my RO system and the ice is great. Good production. I don't find it loud. It's just what I needed!!!
