The OLED screen is so crisp even watching a movie at home is a theatre-like experience. I think the TV is good luck, longhorns and Texans won first time watching on new TV! The only knock I have is the controller you have to aim to toggle around the screen (can makes things a lot easier just requires good aim 🤣)

But LG made it possible, with their reasonable rates , and today I finally own a new tv after so many years that too an OLED.. and my god the quality is mind bending. I got the TV delivered around the time IT WELCOME TO DERRY got released, and I am watchinh these episodes on my new tv now.. and I have no words.. it is soooooo good. If you’re upgrading from an older LED or even a few-year-old OLED, you’ll notice the difference immediately. While it’s not quite the sun-gun that the high-end G5 is, the C5 is definitely bright enough to make HDR content truly pop, even in a moderately lit room. The picture quality is simply beautiful. Colors are rich and accurate, and thanks to the new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor, motion handling is incredibly smooth. Watching a 4K movie in Filmmaker Mode (with Dolby Vision, naturally) feels like getting a private screening. The sense of depth and contrast is just unbeatable at this price point. Where the C5 truly shines is for gamers. With four full HDMI 2.1 ports, 144Hz VRR support, G-Sync, and an absurdly fast 0.1ms response time, this thing is future-proofed for the fastest PC and console gaming. That's a real shame for desktop users or those with smaller, brighter rooms. Secondly, the new remote design feels like a step backward. It's slimmer, but they moved the dedicated mute button to a long press on the volume rocker, which is just annoying when you need silence right now. Finally, while the WebOS smart platform is comprehensive, the push toward more AI features and a few intrusive home screen ads is a distraction on a premium television. You can disable the ads, thankfully, but it shouldn's be a thing in the first place. The Verdict: The LG C5 is the sweet spot in the OLED market. If you can stretch your budget for the 55-inch or larger size to get the full brightness boost, this is a TV that will absolutely dominate your living room entertainment for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My space is inherently dark due to having a night time occupation. The infinite contrast of the WOLED panel makes the picture pop. I previously had a 10 year old curved panel and it was lovely but after seeing my best friend’s C1 I knew I wanted to eventually grab one of these myself. Gaming plays a small role in my life and the ability to have 120 hz refresh for my Xbox and PS5 was a huge factor in my choice. Games look amazing, the latency is almost non-existent and they look better than they ever have before when compared to what I previously had. The only issue I have is WebOS and the settings menu. WebOS is fine, I just don’t need it to be there when I turn the TV on. The settings menus seem lacking for the quality of this set. I like to tinker and while I can’t articulate what’s missing from the settings that I’d prefer to have, I can say it’s annoying that things are grayed out when I should be able to control everything at any given moment. Overall, I’m very happy and will continue to work on perfecting my experience.
