Coming from a pioneer plasma, I was afraid the experience would not be as good…I was wrong. The set up and controls are also pretty straight forward, with easy to understand progressive prompts. The blue light reduction is a nice add which I quickly employed. Made an immediate difference. Nice job LG…you have a winner in the C5. Highly recommend.

The picture quality is insane, the brightness is solid even in my living room, and the size alone makes movies and sports feel completely different. LG definitely did their thing with the panel. One thing that disappointed me was the lack of a mounting point for the Synergy bracket. On the smaller sizes this TV supports it, so I expected the 83” to have the same option. For a premium TV at this size and price point, it feels like something that should be included. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely inconvenient if you're planning a full LG ecosystem setup. Other than that, it's been great. I just wish they didn't remove that feature on the biggest model.

I first turned on antenna TV and watched some of my favorite older shows and the picture was good on all of them. Even with low quality input content the upscaled picture was nice. I even got to watch one of my favorite Christmas movies on an LG channel. I haven't touched any settings yet and I'm still getting used to the remote (I'm looking for a universal replacement to have a second option). But do far, I like the LG C5 77".

I finally decided to upgrade to the 77" C5 after seeing all the positive reviews—and I was stunned the moment I turned it on. The picture quality is just on another level: the blacks are inky, colors are rich without looking cartoonish, and the extra brightness really makes HDR movies and shows pop. The larger 77" size is incredibly immersive, especially for movies and sports, but it still feels sharp and detailed, not stretched. Motion handling is smooth, which has been great for both fast-paced action and gaming. The smart TV interface is snappy and easy to use, apps load quickly, and all the usual streaming services run flawlessly. Gaming on this thing is a dream—low input lag, great response, and everything just looks so clean and vibrant. Overall, I already loved my C1, but the C5 feels like a true step up in every way. If you're on the fence about upgrading, especially from an older OLED, I can genuinely say I absolutely love this TV and have zero regrets.

This tv is used for Netflix/streaming predominately in a brightly lit room with windows. The color and quality of the image is astonishing. Such an upgrade.

If you watch tv on basic apps or cable like spectrum, the picture is still good. i noticed more sharpness on the C5 then the C4. Also, for gamers, the 4 HDMI ports are great. it allows for me to have my xbox, switch, and soundbar to all be active with an extra port to spare. The apps on the TV are great as the TV supports everything I use from Crunchyroll to HBO MAX. Overall, this is a great TV. Super bright and perfect black. This is my first OLED so I am super happy with it.
