The OLED picture is incredible coming from an older QLED style TV. 77 is the perfect size for a living room with high ceilings, without looking small in the room or overbearing on the wall. Setup was super quick and easy. No color tweaking required, looks great out of the box in Cinema dolby vision mode. Sound is good for a TV but nobody uses built in sound anymore.

The 77" format provides an excellent viewing experience...especially for zooming in on shows that are cropped horizontally (old TV format) or vertically (movie panoramic view). The LG remote control keeps getting better and more intuitive...tactile volume switch lever that allows quick mute/unmute, quick buttons to streaming, etc. Now my TV is truly a home theater.

I like the "LG Channel" included in the apps as it lets you watch local TV stations thru the internet - no need for antennas. Also, like the Alexa integration feature although if you have a existing Alexa unit in the same room - they will both respond. It would be better if they knew they were on the same network in the same room (labeled in Alexa as such). All in all a pretty nice TV.

After some research, this tv hit all my requirements in terms of refresh rate, OLED, and size. Everyone says the color and picture is extremely vibrant. The sound quality is only ok, so I would recommend a sound bar/speakers to go with it. Other than that, I highly recommend this tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought the 77" LG c5 and am extremely happy. I have previously owned various sizes of the c7, c8, c9, cx, c2, and c4 and the jump up this year is big. It gets noticeably brighter than the previous generations and the upgraded processor is also faster. The picture is much brighter so that I can have my lights on or my windows open with much less issue. I hooked up my gaming laptop to the tv and can confirm that it can handle gsync/144hz/HDR pass through/etc. I prefer the new menu system vs. the previous gens but they have moved quite a bit of options around and the application of the tech is different. Previously, it was recommended to turn off a lot of the picture enhancements because it did weird motion stuff with the pictures but with the new cinematic modes and picture settings, the enhancements are nice to have on without it messing up the picture. One really nice thing about the new tv is that the vesa mount is now higher on the TV. If you have previous lg oleds, the vesa mounting was always really low on the tv and it made it awkward to wall mount because it needed to sit much lower to line up. I also like the updated magic remote and that it can control all my devices much better than before vs just relying on CEC. My only qualm with the TV is the audio pass through. I have a very high end sound system and I cannot pass through truehd/master audio correctly. It's always an issue with every tv/brand, surprisingly, my old c9 was the only tv that passed audio through correctly. I did briefly use the TV speakers and there is a setting to improve the audio with it wall mounted or if it's on a stand. I hardly ever use my TV speakers since I have it hooked up to a full sound system but I do sometimes use it when I'm making changes. The TV speakers are decent if you're in a pinch but I would recommend still getting something to improve the audio. I'm very happy and recommend this product strongly.
