The TV handles HDR well, producing rich contrast and impressive detail, and LG's webOS platform remains smooth and easy to navigate. While the C5 is brighter than earlier C-series models, it still isn't as bright as some high-end Mini-LED or QD-OLED competitors, which can matter in rooms with a lot of direct sunlight. Reflection handling is good but, like most OLEDs, not perfect in very bright environments. This C5 OLED comes with an amazing amount of clarity and brightness that helps if you have a bright room. Out the box, the colors all pop on each picture setting. There's no tinkering that needs to be done. I hooked it up with my PC and PS5 and you can tell the extra Hrz really helps with gaming. I cannot think of any negatives but if you're on the fence between a 65 inch or 77 inch, go for bigger. That's a huge difference in size and it really helps bring out the picture. Once I got it, it was easy to setup and I had my gaming systems playing at 4K 120 fps in no time. The quality was phenomenal with deep blacks and you had a great view from every angle I sat. Definitely a purchase I would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an LG OLED TV for about 7 years now (also a C model) but it turned out that our family room doesn't get as much action as our bedroom for TV watching. I've been so happy with it that I wanted to upgrade the bedroom, too, and see what kind of improvements have happened in the last few years in LG tech. This TV is absolutely amazing. It's noticeably brighter than my old one, which is important since we have south-facing windows in our bedroom. It seems like it doesn't glare as much for some reason as my older TV, although that could be just a lack of dust on the screen compared to the old one. The blacks are awesome and WebOS is very snappy compared to our previous Fire TV UI - even the older one is holding up better than recent Fire TV purchases, so I think WebOS is great and this TV is future proofed bigtime on that front. I've got it hooked up to my home assistant and I'm able to do basic controls there, although I haven't figured out yet how to open specific apps. Overall I'm super happy with it and wish I had upgraded sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: It's an amazing looking TV. This is my 3rd LG OLED and they never let me down when it comes to picture quality. It's just stunning. The 83 inch was a lot lighter than I thought it would be, so that was a plus when mounting it to the wall. Cons: The remote is 2/5. They are going with a minimalist approach, pushing AI and ThinQ for your interactions with the TV. Please LG, if your going to go minimalist on the remote, include a play and pause button. The wheel button has been problematic to start and stop play in some streaming applications (Paramount+ comes to mind). I don't need dedicated streaming service buttons. What I really miss is a play, pause, and mute button. The holding down the volume to mute is just annoying and not intuitive. The bloatware and advertisements on the WebOS has been getting more and more invasive. LG does a decent job of letting you disable a lot of the advertisements, but I wish I could remove the apps that come preinstalled. The AI features are not impressive so far. I haven't found any of it useful, yet. Conclusion: Overall, I love the TV even with the regression in the new remote design and WebOS drawbacks.

Amazing picture quality, but you need to supply quality source as well, for some youtube 4K hdr videos is still has noticeable shuttering. When you give it proper source this TV shines, nature documentaries on netflix has it! You definitely need separate sound system to get most of it.

The sound is not bad either major improvement over regular tvs. And the inky blacks really make the oled great.vivid colors.

The colors look rich, the screen is extremely sharp, and movies look almost like they're playing in a theater. Bright scenes and dark scenes both look great. I've also been really impressed with how smooth it is for gaming. The response feels instant and everything looks very clear, especially in fast games. The built-in apps work well and the menu is easy to use, so I haven't had any issues finding what I need. The sound quality is good for a thin TV. I still prefer using a soundbar for movies, but on its own it's definitely better than expected. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. The TV looks great in my space and I feel like I got really strong value for the money. I would definitely recommend the LG C5 to anyone looking for a great OLED TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am upgrading TV's for the first time in a decade. The difference in technology and picture clarity is night and day from the television I had. We went OLED bc we our family room is in a north facing room and gets hit with a ton of sunlight. The OLED helps reduce the glare drastically. Through the Black Friday deal, we also got a soundbar half off which helps improve the sound quality. I would recommend adding that to your purchase as it is needed. Overall very happy with our purchase and confident it will last us another decade. The 120 HZ helps future proof!
