LG OLED is Unstoppable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first OLED we ever bought was the LG CX in 2020. After 5 years of amazing quality and no issues with burn-in we jumped at the chance to add a 77 inch C5 to our collection. The CX was jaw dropping then but somehow LG just keeps getting better and better. Many don't realize that this breakthrough in technology and price was only possible due to the decades of relentless investment by LG into figuring out how to mass produce OLED TVs at an affordable price. Thank you LG for bringing this amazing technology to the world! Once you go LG OLED you are a customer for life!
LG OLED C5 85 Inch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received our LG OLED C5 85-inch TV today. The delivery team handled it properly and safely, and we were excited to unbox it. The picture quality is really good and we're very happy so far. The purchase process was smooth, and the support team was really helpful in guiding me and confirming this was the right choice for me. The TV looks premium, and the build quality feels solid. We're getting ready to mount it on the wall and can't wait to enjoy movies, sports, and everyday viewing on this big screen. Very happy with the purchase so far.
OLED Magic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the LG 77” C5 OLED TV, and let me tell you—this thing is a beast. I'm not a tech expert, just someone who loves watching movies, and sports. So here's my honest take. The picture is absolutely gorgeous. Blacks are super deep, colors are vibrant, and everything just looks more “alive.” Watching movies feels like being in a theater. Even regular cable looks better somehow. I didn't mess with too many settings—out of the box, it looked amazing. The sound is decent. It's clear and loud enough for everyday use, but if you really want that movie theater feel, you'll probably want a soundbar. I added one later and it made a big difference.
Exceeding expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is amazing. Honestly after looking at different options, I just could not find one that amazed me more than the C5. The brightness and sharpness is on another level. 10/10 would buy again, and honestly if I can afford it, might have to buy a second C5 haha.
Great OLED TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C5 77" OLED delivers incredibly sharp, detailed images with outstanding clarity. Even fast-moving scenes look crisp, and the OLED's pixel-level contrast makes everything pop with rich colors and deep blacks. Pictures look refined, smooth, and beautifully accurate — easily one of the best visual experiences you can get in a TV this size.
Amazing TV, stunning picture quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the LG C5 77” OLED, and it has completely transformed my home entertainment experience. The picture quality is nothing short of breathtaking. The OLED panel delivers perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible contrast that makes every movie, show, and game look cinematic. HDR performance is especially impressive — highlights pop without blowing out, and dark scenes retain rich detail. The AI-enhanced processing is fast and smooth, automatically optimizing picture and sound based on what you're watching. Motion handling is excellent, making sports and action scenes fluid and crisp. For gaming, the low input lag and 4K 120Hz support make this TV a dream; everything feels responsive and visually stunning on such a large screen. The design is sleek and premium, with thin bezels that make the 77” screen feel even more immersive. webOS is intuitive and responsive, with all major apps available and easy to navigate. Overall, the LG C5 77” is a masterpiece. Whether you're a movie buff, a gamer, or just want the best picture quality available, this TV delivers on every front. Worth every penny and highly recommended!
Absolutely Blown Away by the Picture Quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the 77-inch LG C5 and it is absolutely stunning. The picture quality is incredible thanks to the new Alpha 9 Gen8 processor—the upscaling makes everything look sharp, and the OLED perfect blacks are unmatched. The Brightness Booster really makes HDR content pop, even in a room with some ambient light, which was a nice surprise compared to older OLEDs. For gaming, this TV is a beast. The 144Hz refresh rate and instant response time make games feel incredibly smooth, and having four full HDMI 2.1 ports is super convenient for connecting multiple consoles. The new webOS 25 interface is snappy and easy to navigate. The built-in sound is decent for such a thin profile, but I definitely recommend pairing it with a soundbar to match the cinematic visuals of the 77-inch screen. Highly recommended!
The Benchmark for Cinematic Immersion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C5 77-inch delivers a reference-quality picture that truly elevates the home viewing experience. The increase in brightness is noticeable, bringing out stunning HDR highlights and making it a viable option for well-lit rooms, while retaining those signature, perfect OLED black levels. The new Alpha processor excels at motion handling and upscaling, ensuring that both high-bitrate 4K films and standard broadcast content look sharp and clean on this massive screen. The 77-inch size provides unparalleled cinematic immersion. However, prospective buyers focused on film and media libraries should note one crucial detail: the C5 series does not support native DTS audio decoding. This requires the use of an external receiver or soundbar for media that relies on DTS soundtracks. Additionally, like any top-tier display, a careful check of panel uniformity upon setup is recommended to ensure optimal performance. Overall, this is the best balanced OLED display currently available for the serious movie enthusiast.
Just what I wanted
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd LG OLED I've purchased. They really have the best picture quality out of all high end televisions. I use this to play on my PS5 too and the response times really are faster than a non OLED tv.
Brilliant TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for the ultimate centerpiece for your home theater, the LG OLED77C5PUA is effectively the "gold standard" TV of 2025. Succeeding the wildly popular C4, the C5 doesn't reinvent the wheel—it polishes it to a blinding shine. I have spent two weeks with the 77-inch C5, throwing everything from 4K Blu-rays to high-frame-rate PC games at it. Here is why this TV is an absolute beast. 1. Picture Quality: Intelligence Meets Intensity The headline feature this year is the new α9 AI Processor Gen8. LG talks a lot about "AI" in their marketing, but this year you can actually see it working. Brightness: While the C5 doesn't have the Micro Lens Array (MLA) tech reserved for the pricier G5, it is noticeably brighter than last year's C4. The "Brightness Booster" tech pushes highlights—explosions, streetlights, stars—with an intensity that makes HDR content pop off the screen. SDR Performance: This is the sleeper hit feature. The C5 takes standard content (like older TV shows or 1080p streams) and revitalizes it. The upscaling is cleaner, sharper, and brighter without looking artificial. Color & Contrast: You get the infinite contrast OLED is famous for. Blacks are inky and perfect. Colors are rich but natural. 2. Gaming: The Best Just Got Better If you are a gamer, stop looking. You have found your TV. The 77-inch canvas is immersive enough to replace a multi-monitor setup. 144Hz Refresh Rate: PC gamers can push frame rates up to 144Hz for buttery smooth motion. VRR & ALLM: With full support for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium, screen tearing is nonexistent. Game Optimizer: The dashboard puts critical settings (black stabilizer, genre presets) one click away. Input lag is virtually undetectable. 3. Design & Usability The "C" series aesthetic remains undefeated. The panel is razor-thin—thinner than your smartphone—and the 77-inch model sits on a sturdy, premium stand (though it begs to be wall-mounted). webOS 25: The new operating system is snappier than ever. The "AI Concierge" actually learns what you like rather than just pushing random ads. Navigating between Netflix, GeForce Now, and HDMI inputs feels instant. 4. The "Wow" Factor There is something visceral about a 77-inch OLED. It fills your peripheral vision. Watching Dune: Part Two or playing Cyberpunk 2077 on this screen isn't just "watching TV"—it's an event. The sheer scale combined with the pixel-perfect contrast creates a 3D-like depth that LED TVs still can't quite replicate. Any Downsides? Sound: The built-in 2.2 channel audio is surprisingly decent with clear dialogue, but if you are spending this much on a visual masterpiece, do yourself a favor and buy a Dolby Atmos soundbar. The TV deserves it. Glass Reflection: Like all glossy OLEDs, you'll want to control the lighting in your room. It handles reflections better than the C3 or C4, but direct sunlight is still the enemy. Final Thoughts The LG OLED77C5PUA is a triumph.[1] It sits in that perfect sweet spot: significantly better than entry-level OLEDs, but much more affordable than the flagship G5 Gallery Series. If you want a TV that will make your jaw drop every time you turn it on for the next 5 years, this is the one. Pros: Stunning HDR brightness and contrast Class-leading gaming features (144Hz, 0.1ms response)[1] New Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor makes everything look 4K[2] Gorgeous, ultra-thin design[3]
