Amazing upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a month ago and it's been an amazing buy so far. Was worried that it wouldn't be bright enough due to it being the midrange model, but it's super bright. I've come from a 13 year old Sony FHD QD panel and I'm finally in the future. Colour pops and the contrast is amazing. My old TV also had terrible viewing angles, but with this being OLED, the image doesn't go dull when sat in the poor seats in the corner. Moving to 4K also makes a huge difference when sat close watching movies. Started watching old movies I love to see how much better they now look. Get one, you won't regret it.

What a feast for the eyes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a while since buying a new TV, but this is such a step change in quality, speed, brightness, sharpness, anti glare, it has transformed viewing experience. To the point of being disappointed in the other monitors, TVs and projectors around the house. May need to upgrade them too ! Being able to personalize the home screen makes a big difference too. remote is good ( although too easy to accidentally press the AI button, which is a nuisance). But WE LOVE IT! 3 downsides: none that can't be overcome, but still mildly irritating 1) not able to load the U TV app, in the UK - very odd. Having to rely on Sky box, so a multi-button press when should be on the home screen. 2) recording is proving hard work. TV trashed a USB stick trying to format it - failed, and now won't work elsewhere. wondering is it worth getting an HDD or sticking with my old Humax FreeSat recorder. 3) No Freely - would it have been so hard? So with those caveats, knocked a star off.

Best TV I've owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought the LG 65” C5 OLED, and after spending some time with it, I can honestly say it's one of the best TVs I've ever owned. The picture quality is phenomenal. The OLED panel delivers perfect blacks and incredible contrast, which makes movies and shows look stunning, especially in dark scenes. Colors are vibrant without looking over-saturated, and the level of detail in 4K content is outstanding. Watching Dolby Vision content on this TV genuinely feels cinematic. The brightness is impressive for an OLED, and it performs really well even in a fairly bright room. HDR content pops beautifully, and highlights look sharp and natural rather than washed out. For gaming, this TV is fantastic. With HDMI 2.1 ports, 4K at 120Hz, VRR, and extremely low input lag, it pairs perfectly with modern consoles and gaming PCs. Motion is smooth and responsive, making fast-paced games feel incredibly fluid. The design is sleek and premium. The ultra-thin panel and minimal bezels make it look elegant whether it's wall-mounted or on a stand. It blends perfectly into the room and feels like a high-end piece of tech. The webOS interface is fast and easy to use, with all the major streaming apps available. Navigation is smooth, and the Magic Remote makes browsing and searching surprisingly convenient. Sound quality is decent for a thin TV, though like most modern TVs it benefits from a soundbar if you want a more immersive audio experience. Overall, the LG C5 65” delivers exceptional picture quality, top-tier gaming performance, and a premium design. If you're looking for a high-end OLED TV that excels for movies, streaming, and gaming, this one is absolutely worth it.

FINALLY BOUGHT MY DREAM TV…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So guys I have been wanting to own an LG C series since the C1 far back 2021. Men!! I couldn't afford at that time. Here we are in 2026 and I got myself the C5 OLED 55”. I'm so happy I finally hit the nail on the head. Picture quality is unbelievably awesome as someone coming from an old LG UHD TV. Straight out the box picture quality is great, sound is also great but I'm still print it to my soundbar. I have actually started watching all old movies again lol. Filmmakers mode is awesome with the old movies. The tv upscales all SD pictures to look like a raw 4k. Viewing angle too is great, I learnt people experienced green tinting at some viewing angles. I can say I have not seen that yet as we watch the TV from various angles since I have a big family. Overall, I am loving this C5 and I'm glad I waited since 2021 and finally got a C series in 2026 (C5).

Picture Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the exception of the Freesat facility, easy to set up, not much input necessary, it practically does it all itself to get you up and running. Easy to go back and fine tune it as your leisure. Great picture, controls easy to use. Voice control needs a bit of patience when setting up, but, once done you can be as lazy as you want, not even the effort of picking the controller up. Glad I picked this TV

HIgh Performance = Competitively Priced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C5 (55LA) is a total game-changer. The contrast is perfect, making colors look incredibly vibrant even in bright rooms. For gaming, the high FPS and instant response time make everything feel buttery smooth. It's easily the best all-around screen I've used for movies and play.

Excellent TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my 55inch LG OLED with the 77inch, the experience is excellent. The image is brighter and the AI functions are a please to use. Dolby sound through the HDMI eARC provides a cinema like experience. Highly recommended for those looking for a large panel TV.

Very good TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautifully crafted TV, premium feel and the image quality is fantastic. The built-in Dolby Atmos does a great job with the sound to the point we questioned if it would need any additional sound system. Great TV!

LG OLED impresses so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with the LG OLED C5 so far. The picture quality is amazing - super sharp with really deep blacks and vibrant colours. Easy to set up and use. Sound is decent as well for a TV on its own. Overall, feels like a great buy.
