OLED with excellent Contrast and Colour

I have had this TV for a month and the picture quality is very good and clarity is outstanding. The black lever is really good and the brightness is no issues. There is little reflection but my TV does not get hit by direct sunlight. The side angle picture does not degrade. Sound is good but I use a soundbar for better surround sound. The operating system is good but can be slow or sluggish whilst watching something. This TV is much better than my previous led TV.

Top TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a good idea of what I wanted, after visiting the store and chatting with the assistant and seeing what this tv was like for deep blacks and sound made me realise this tv is well worth the money.

Great picture and useful remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with the picture - replacing an 9 year old Sony LED and impressed with the upgrade in both picture quality and brightness. Useful remote as well although not a fan of the pointer but you don't have to use that.

Another beautiful TV from LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this TV a month ago and was a bit concerned that it might be a bit too big but it's been absolutely brilliant. The image is incredible. The brightness is a huge improvement over my last LG OLED and it looks gorgeous up on our lounge wall.

PROUD CUSTOMER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a proud LG Customer for almost 15 years, this is my 4th LG TV. The colours are great, brightness is fabulous for OLED technology. I feel the processing power of the TV is letting down my expectations as the app take quite a while to load. May be it's because of my setting. I will figure it out on the go.

Overall great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it a month ago, set up was straight forward, picture is great quality, only issue is it keeps loosing its connection to the internet despite us being on a new full fibre connection. Download speeds showing as fine at around 500 so not sure if it's a TV issue or something else. Design is lovely, sleek and flat.

Absolutely stunning – the best TV I've ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the 77-inch LG OLED evo AI C5 (OLED77C54LA) a few weeks ago and I'm still speechless every time I turn it on. The picture quality is next-level – those perfect OLED blacks combined with the Brightness Booster make everything pop like never before. Dark scenes in movies (think Dune or The Batman) have incredible depth and detail, while colours are unbelievably vibrant thanks to 100% Colour Fidelity and Volume. The alpha 9 AI Processor Gen8 works magic: upscaling older content is flawless and the AI Picture Pro mode genuinely feels like it reads your mind. Gaming is a dream too. With 144Hz VRR, G-Sync, FreeSync Premium and that insane 0.1ms response time, my PS5 and PC games run buttery smooth with zero tearing. I've never had such a responsive big-screen experience. Sound-wise, the built-in 2.2 channel speakers with AI Sound Pro deliver virtual 11.1.2 surround that's surprisingly powerful – dialogue is crystal clear and Dolby Atmos adds real immersion. Pair it with an LG soundbar later and the WOW Orchestra tech will be epic. The webOS 25 interface is super intuitive, the AI Magic Remote is a joy to use (voice commands actually understand me!), and the ultra-slim design looks gorgeous on the wall. Setup took minutes and the eco features are a nice bonus. If you're thinking about treating yourself to a flagship OLED, stop thinking and just do it. This TV has completely transformed movie nights, gaming sessions and everyday viewing in our house. Worth every penny – 10/10, and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!

Not worth the money

Not worth the money for sure. Nothing is intuitive or plug and play. Doing anything in the settings is difficult and finding simple, basic features (like inputs?) is much more complicated than it should be. My last tv, you plug the PC/laptop into the HDMI and you get video. Not at all on this overpriced thing. The picture is fine, sound is okay but I use a sound bar so no a factor. I cannot stand the voice remote or "SMART" TV garbage. Useless to me, I will never talk to any electronics, but there are no decent options that aren't "SMART". This one had the best reviews, I don't get it though, especially not for the price. It takes a ton of research to figure out basic settings. There's no manual, not even online that I have found, so you have to search random posts. Terrible

Great appearance, AI less useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased with the TV, super narrow bezel and bright. Overall I find the AI annoying, the button seems in an odd place to close to other more used buttons and so I keep pressing it by accident. The AI could not even help me with adjusting the settings on the TV, seems it is more to help you find films.

OLED65C55LA a step up from OLED65A55

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace our previous LG OLED as unfortunately a single 1mm line of pixels (top to bottom) appeared on our 4.5 year old TV which wrote the screen off OLED65A55xx. Just unlucky I guess. This new C55 is a step up with regards to picture quality, functionality, gaming capability (120Hz for XBox) and AI functionality, although we only use 'Filmmaker Mode' for all TV viewing settings. We have a LG soundbar with rear speakers to get the most of Dolby Vision and Atmos where possible, so can't comment on the sound quality.
