I was looking for an upgrade , I am so happy to get an LGC577 inch TV . Multitude of screen adjustments to fine tune to your preferences, screen resolution is perfect. See some comments about remote but I found no issues with set up.

This C5 OLED comes with an amazing amount of clarity and brightness that helps if you have a bright room. Out the box, the colors all pop on each picture setting. There's no tinkering that needs to be done. I hooked it up with my PC and PS5 and you can tell the extra Hrz really helps with gaming. I cannot think of any negatives but if you're on the fence between a 65 inch or 77 inch, go for bigger. That's a huge difference in size and it really helps bring out the picture. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is an excellent add on to my living room, the picture quality is great, the resolution is perfect, the speed is awesome and the contrast even from the edge of my room is great. The connectivity is easy and the refresh rate between the apps is also nice. Overall I like the product.

The remote is genuinely terrible. It constantly activates a very ugly and cumbersome pointer. I thought upon setting up the TV that I could easily go into settings and disable it, but no, I discover that it is a permanent built in feature that cannot be disabled. I do further research and find that this has been a problem for years, with people begging for another option and LG ignoring them. For a premium OLED TV, that is honestly unacceptable, the TV should be easy to use out of the box and not feel like it is actively fighting against you as you try to navigate content and settings. It may be a solvable issue using third party hardware, but due to the fact that the TV is very annoying and difficult to use without additional purchases and doesn’t give a tiny toggle in the settings to disable “magic pointer” forever (while loading up the TV with bloat and software that the user will never want to use, such as an AI chatbot), I am not able to give this TV higher than one star. Hopefully, if enough people speak out, LG will listen and the TV will be usable out of the box.

It turned out to not be an issue probably in part due to the higher brightness of the C5 over prior versions. I have another 65" LG OLED that is 6 plus years old and still in excellent condition, so I don't have concerns on longevity.

The picture quality is absolutely breathtaking — deep, inky blacks, vibrant yet natural colors, and incredible contrast that makes every movie and sports game pop off the screen. Even in a bright room, the OLED panel handles glare surprisingly well. The new Alpha 11 AI processor does an amazing job optimizing content automatically — from 4K Blu-rays to streaming shows, everything looks crisp and lifelike. Motion is buttery smooth, and the 120Hz refresh rate combined with LG’s Game Optimizer makes this a dream for gaming. The input lag is nearly nonexistent, and HDMI 2.1 support on all ports is a huge plus for next-gen consoles. The webOS interface is fast and intuitive, and pairing it with the Magic Remote feels natural — voice commands work great too.
