Deep blacks and stunning picture quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent TV with deep blacks and stunning picture quality. Great for watching movies and casually browsing YouTube as well. The LG web OS is snappy and easy to use. Love the OLED experience thoroughly. The audio quality is great as well and a great value for the price.
Major Upgrade from LG 65CX
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just turned on this TV and it is a major upgrade from the 65CX I had previously. The CX still looks amazing but this is noticeably brighter. I also like the picture in picture feature for viewing two HDMI's. I am a little disappointed they removed pass through DTS but the CX didn't have it either so I knew this before getting it. This TV was much lighter than the 65CX and felt more solid. The CX was scary when moving it around.
LG OLED C5 85 Inch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received our LG OLED C5 85-inch TV today. The delivery team handled it properly and safely, and we were excited to unbox it. The picture quality is really good and we're very happy so far. The purchase process was smooth, and the support team was really helpful in guiding me and confirming this was the right choice for me. The TV looks premium, and the build quality feels solid. We're getting ready to mount it on the wall and can't wait to enjoy movies, sports, and everyday viewing on this big screen. Very happy with the purchase so far.
Amazing Picture Quality and Truly a Game Changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently upgraded to the OLED77C5PUA and we are extremely happy with it. The picture quality is outstanding. Colors look natural and vivid, and the contrast from the OLED technology makes movies and shows look almost lifelike. My wife loves it too, which says a lot because we notice the difference every time we watch something. It really does change the viewing experience. The design is sleek and modern, and the interface is easy to use. Whether we are watching movies, sports, or playing games, everything looks incredibly smooth and crisp. This TV has definitely become the centerpiece of our living room. Highly recommended.
Absolutely Stunning Picture and Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the LG OLED77C5PUA, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The picture quality is absolutely breathtaking — the depth, contrast, and color accuracy are on another level. Blacks are truly black, colors are rich and vibrant, and the overall image feels lifelike and cinematic no matter what I'm watching. The new processor is impressively fast, making navigation smooth and responsive. Apps open instantly, streaming is seamless, and even motion handling during fast scenes is incredibly fluid. The upscaling is also excellent — even older content looks sharper and more refined than ever. Beyond the performance, the design is sleek and modern, with ultra-thin bezels that make the screen feel like it's floating on the wall. Combined with its outstanding sound quality and smart features, this TV delivers a true home theater experience. Overall, the LG OLED77C5PUA is a masterpiece of picture quality and performance. If you're looking for a premium OLED that truly showcases what 4K can do, this is the one to get!
Excellent TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is great. Upgrading from a non OLED the difference is very noticeable the picture is much brighter, and smoother due to the high refresh rate. This was worthy upgrade from a non OLED it performs better than my expectations
Excellent TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C5 has been amazing so far. The picture quality is excellent, and watching movies and playing games on the 77" screen is an impressive, immersive experience. I love being able to customize the settings for each specific input and the new remote has been an improvement so far from previous magic remotes. The only flaw is the known green tint when watching the tv at an angle. Personally, I have grown used to it and it's not too noticeable so it doesn't bother me but something to think about. Overall, I would highly recommend the LG C5.
Excellent Daily Driver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are precisely two complaints that I can give my LG 77 C5 OLED television. The first is that is that it's too thin. I feel that the fragility of the thin design is not worth the future hassle if I ever need to move it from its current location. However, that is not a problem whatsoever with how the television functions and it functions extremely well. I have been using an LG 65 B8 OLED for six years and felt it was time to step up and really give my home theater a true theater feel, with the larger screen. So far, the new television easily matches the excellent picture quality of that B8, which was a calibrated display, without needing professional calibration. I'm sure professional calibration would make the C5 look even better, but the built in Filmmaker Mode made it very easy to slip into use without hours of fine tuning. The first films I watched on it looked fantastic and I only needed to mess with a couple of settings to capture that look. I can't tell you how the speakers in this television sound. I don't use my television's speakers, as I have a dedicated sound system. I did have to figure out ARC for the first time in order to get the most out of this new television's features with my gaming setup and I appreciate how well it works with passthrough. I assume the speakers may be another downside to anyone expecting an all-in-one package, but televisions as a whole have not had excellent speakers built-in for years, so that isn't a knock against this television, but does go back to the way televisions keep getting thinner. The second complaint that I have is of the new magic remote. I understand minimizing many of the functions, but the lack of a mute button or a play and pause button for people using the built-in media apps is disappointing. I am the type of person who prefers having dedicated buttons for my functions rather than going through menus. It's not a major deal, but using my previous remote was less responsive than the new one, so I'll stick with the new one. As a whole, this television is everything i expected and more and I would fully recommend it.
Amazing Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this TV for the great specs and have been blown away after it arrived. The picture quality is amazing with a great refresh rate. I often watch sports and action movies and I'm in awe of how good the content looks on this TV. One of my favorite features is how good that sound quality is on this unit as compared to my old TV. You can tell that LG really invested time in enhancing the quality of the audio from the TV alone. While I ordered a soundbar to go along with the TV; the audio from the TV alone is sufficient and you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the 65" LG C1 OLED for about 5 years and have been really happy with it, so I honestly didn't think a new TV could impress me that much more. I finally decided to upgrade to the 77" C5 after seeing all the positive reviews—and I was stunned the moment I turned it on. The picture quality is just on another level: the blacks are inky, colors are rich without looking cartoonish, and the extra brightness really makes HDR movies and shows pop. The larger 77" size is incredibly immersive, especially for movies and sports, but it still feels sharp and detailed, not stretched. Motion handling is smooth, which has been great for both fast-paced action and gaming. The smart TV interface is snappy and easy to use, apps load quickly, and all the usual streaming services run flawlessly. Gaming on this thing is a dream—low input lag, great response, and everything just looks so clean and vibrant. Overall, I already loved my C1, but the C5 feels like a true step up in every way. If you're on the fence about upgrading, especially from an older OLED, I can genuinely say I absolutely love this TV and have zero regrets.
