Took unit right out of the box, added gas and oil and one pull, started right up. Had plenty of power to power up what I needed. Ran it for six hours straight. Saved my contents in fridge, freezer and keep my sump pump running. Wife asked if it could run the coffee maker. Yep it did. Well worth the purchase price!

The GP6500E is a great product for the price I paid. This is due in part to the terrific price promotion from the retailer, but I still feel that this item would be a good buy even without the promotion. There were some minor problems in assembling the unit, but once I got it started I was very pleased with its performance. There was enough power to power most everything in my house, but what most impressed me was the apparent purity of the signal. I have two UPS units in the house which didn't like the voltage from my previous generator (they gave an alarm signal and shut down), but no such problem with the GP6500E. This performance I would expect from an inverter, not from a standard portable generator. In conclusion I am very pleased.

Purchased the E7500 in 2015 during a week long power outage from a wind storm. It powered my furnace, lights, microwave, Keurig and toaster oven. It was 11 degrees F and very windy. I have used it several times since for minor projects. It starts every time with both battery and pull cord. It's on its second spark plug and battery. Love this generator.

Compared several modals, sizes, features, the generac was the best overall. Very reliable, easy to use. Had power through hurricane for refrigerator, window a/c , most house lights, made a 4 day power outage tolerable. Had a 12 hour outage recently, I had just come home from a triple bypass, instructed my wife how to start and she got power to house in matter of minutes. Would not want to be without it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so grateful for this generator. I live in NJ, on the shore, & have dealt with hurricanes. This will help save food in the fridge & can help keeping the house cool, if needed. At the very least charge devices so we can be in contact with family, if needed. It's not too loud, & super easy to set up. I've wanted a generator for so long so I'm so happy with this!!

This generator works great and I got it for a great price on sale. I havn't used it much, but it starts right away and seems to have a lot of power. The only complaint I have is that getting the cotter pins in for the wheels is a bit hard how they have them positioned. Other than that the generator seems to be great so far.

Being a new home owner I always thought about power going out. Well power went out! Went to local hardware store many different options I've heard from other people generac was top of the line a little pricey but well worth it. Will recommend to anyone I know

Purchased this generator after Hurricane Michael. I used it to run refrigeration, medical equipment and my well. It had absolutely no problems carrying the load. It is a quiet generator and ran for about 14 hours on a tank of gas. I highly recommend this generator.

Just made it through hurricane Sandy's blackout. This was the generators first extended test. Passed with flying colors. This is the 6500 Watt model, manual start. Started on the second pull (usually does). I Powered, using the 30amp outlet - 1 Refrig, 2 gas forced hot air heating units, 1 gas powered water heater, 2 bathrooms, kitchen lights, dinette lights family room outlets (charged a lot of cell phones), and used applicances through those outlets (toaster over, coffee maker, washer/dryer), and of course a radio, hall lights and a bedroom. Using the 20amp four outlets, powered three more refrig, including a couple from my neighbors house, and some additional lights. The generator took forever to use the gasoline in the tank. No lights flickered, appliances functioned proprely. At times I forgot I was on generator. Thank You Generac.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Portable Generator, and it has proven to be an incredible asset for my power needs. The flexibility to run on gasoline, liquid propane, or natural gas with just a simple turn of a dial is a game-changer, making it incredibly convenient for various situations. With a robust 12,500 starting watts and 9,500 running watts on gas, it delivers consistent power for multiple applications, whether I'm using it for home projects or during emergencies. I appreciate the onboard COsense® technology that provides peace of mind by protecting against hazardous carbon monoxide. The electric start feature is user-friendly, and the included LP connector hose makes transitioning between fuel sources a breeze. Plus, the ergonomic handle and never-flat wheels make it easy to transport. With a solid runtime of up to 9.5 hours at 50% load, this generator truly combines power, reliability, and ease of use, making it an excellent investment for anyone in need of portable power.
