[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Opal Nugget Ice Maker has been a fantastic addition to our kitchen! It’s incredibly easy to set up and clean, and as long as you clean it weekly, the ice stays fresh and bacteria-free. It quickly goes from empty to full in just 3 hours. We use it daily.

Best ice maker ever. The cleaning process is tedious and the water tank needs a better design in order to pour the water in through the top instead of having to pick up the entire tank, flip it over to open the lid to pour water in, and then flip it back over to set it back into it's base. They need to make where the base is connected and the opening for the water is on the top.

It also keeps our drinks cooler for longer than any other ice we have tried. It also seems to melt slower than other ice we have bought from the store. The ice maker itself isn't overly loud and is so handy. It is very efficient and replenishes ice as I remove it, which is so convenient. The instructions are easy to follow and we haven't had a single issue yet. We use a lot of ice in our house and it's great for drinks, smoothies, keeping bottles or cans cool, and for stocking our coolers. I also blend up ice from this machine to make homemade slushies. It's a hit with every single member of our family. This ice maker is a must-have for any family that goes through ice like we do and that enjoys a cold drink in the summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the crunchiness of the ice that this makes! It also didn't taste like tap water. Althought it is a bit on the heavy and bulkier side, and it took a while to make ice the first time but the noise level is low so it didn't bother me.

As long as it stays on, it stays cold enough to always have fresh ice in the bin. I turned it off overnight to test it and some of it melted but not as bad as I thought it would. My main issue is that it’s somewhat loud and will turn on/off as ice melts and it makes more.

The directions are clear and easy to follow. Quickest little ice machine. I absolutely love the little nugget ice! Would 100% recommend this to anyone who loves the good ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this ice maker at the perfect time as my fridge stopped making ice a few weeks ago and I was not ready to have it repaired yet. This ice maker was large, honestly probably wouldn’t recommend unless you have a ton of counter space for it, but worked amazingly. It was so quiet when it ran (quieter than my washing machine) It makes a ton of ice quickly and is easy to clean after use. I definitely have enjoyed having this and would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality ice maker for their home or business.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wanting a nugget ice maker for a LONG time so I was excited to finally get one. First impressions: It’s a little bigger than I expected but not bad, looks really pretty and seems well made. Set up was easy, although the manual is a general one, regardless of the model of ice maker, so some of it requires using your own common sense. The ice making process is QUICK, within 15 minutes of starting the ice process I already had a few ice nuggets drop into the bin. The ice is perfect size (and texture) for drinks but I wouldn’t use it in a shaker or to keep things cold in a cooler. The machine is a little loud…basically sounds like a mini fridge/freezer, but it’s in the kitchen and doesn’t really bother me. All in all, this seems like a solid product and I hope it lasts longer than some of the reviews.
