Not noticeable and quiet. Sleek look otherwise. No smell.

This is our 2nd unit. Both work excellent, just wish they used the same charging cord.

I have several Thermacell products. This one is by far the easiest to set up and use.

I love the other thermacell products I have and wanted to try this one as added protection.
