I bought this a few weeks ago, immediately charged it and then didn't get a chance to use it. I grabbed it earlier this week and was disappointed to find the battery dead even though it hadn't been turned on since charging it. I charged it again for 2 days. Took it outside tonight while enjoying a fire on my patio and with the thermacell sitting on the arm of my chair, I was swarmed by mosquitoes and got multiple bites. We have used Thermacell products since the company started and own multiple units. This rechargeable liquid solution is the worse item I have ever used. I would have been better to just light a citronella candle.

I have two of these Thermacell devices and have never had success. At our old house I blamed it on the windy conditions, but at our new place the air is pretty still on the back patio. This device was CHARGED, and on for one hour, new refill, literally sitting one foot from me. The photo shows the mosquito that landed on my leg and would have bit me had I not killed it with my hand, getting blood on me. So much for protection from West Nile virus. Very disappointed.

I have used the product and it works well. However the refill does not last 12 hours as advertised. It was empty in less than 6 hours of use. I have purchased a 40 hour refill and I hope it week last 40 hours as advertised. The refills are very expensive. This is a low cost product but it works.

I am extremely disappointed! Just received this as a gift not only did the repellent that came with it came only half full (so I will not be getting the 12 hours promised on the box) the extra one purchase that is supposed to last 40 hours came almost completely empty!! These refills aren't cheap to start with and now I can only get a fraction of the promise protection time because they are sending nearly empty ones!! Not worth the money!!

We have not been able to use this at all since we purchased it. We have charged it, reset it, put in new cartridge and nothing. The lights come on and circle for about 2 minutes and then go completely out. When we try to turn on, a red light comes on and then goes off. I was thinking about purchasing another one, but don't want to waste any more money.

Does not work, do not waste your time or money.

It works on a multitude of insects although it claims to target mosquitos

Came neatly packed, haven't tried it yet but other reviews seem good

I'm optimistic with this product. All the reviews are great, we shall see.

The new model has a sound and light feature that make it easy to know that the unit is working.
