Hi there, Thank you for sharing your experience with the Shark Freestyle vacuum. We’re sorry to hear that your unit won’t hold a charge. We understand how disappointing that can be, especially with a brand-new product. We’d like to clarify that the Shark Freestyle is not part of our Cordless PowerDetect series, which features different battery and performance technology. However, your vacuum should still deliver dependable cordless cleaning, and we want to help resolve this issue. Please reach out to our Customer Care team at 1-855-427-5127 with your model number and any additional details. We’ll be happy to troubleshoot or explore warranty options to ensure you’re fully supported. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, we’re here to help. Warm regards, Shark Clean US
