[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blessed enough to receive the shark power, detect self cleaning and emptying stick vacuum system recently. This vacuum compares to other models of the shark as well as the Dyson vacuums. This product has a feature called the power detect intelligence which increases the cleaning power for up to 75%. It is able to detect and find hidden dirt and boost the power to suction it. It also has a built-in extra suction to pull in debris from the edges and corners of the floor. While using it on carpets and floors, it’s able to optimize performance based on what type of floor it is and it also is able to change directions and pull in debris even on a reverse pull.I think the best part of this is that has a multi flex feature that is able to flex the stick in hard to reach places like under tables, etc. The other very awesome feature is that it has an auto empty dock which locks away dirt, does, allergens and odor without having to empty physically. The charge time on this also last up to 70 minutes, which is great and much more than the average cordless vacuum, I would 100% tell you all to purchase this product as it works great for people who shed as well as pets.

This is my third shark, and i don't feel it compares to the others that I've bought in the past. I don't like the power detect system. It doesn't always power up when you need it to vacuum up something. I didn't see any way to override it and increase the power myself. Also, it didn't come with any type of instruction manual. You have to scan it with your phone and try and figure things out that way.

I only wish I was incentivized to review.. I love my new Shark cordless vacuum. More powerful than the other brand I used before, better on carpets, and frankly a little mesmerizing to witness it self empty. A lot of dust and pet hair/irritants in my home this time of year, and the self emptying of the vacuum combined with easy to dump canister every couple weeks, this vacuum has been excellent for keeping down the irritants. Bonus points for the extra measure of maneuverability by letting the stick fold on a hinge for those hard to reach places under the bed and sofa.

The suction power is so powerful and I love how the vacuum has three sets, a low volume one, a medium one and a higher one which I love because sometimes my other vacuums do so much noise and this one is super quiet, which means that I am going to be able to vacuum at night. The dust capacity is super nice with my other vacuums I would have to jump down the dust every time I vacuum with this one I could vacuum up to 10 or even more times and it does not get full. Battery life is amazing in the last super long. I love it how it does not have a cord so I could use it to vacuum my car out 100% recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shark Cordless power detect is impressive. First of all, very easy to build, you even get a filter for replacement. It is sleek, sturdy and very powerful. It is on the heavy side but it is very easy to use and move so well that it doesnt bother. It has 2 different attachments that cover pretty much all uses. But the Best parts are the detection of the dirtyness that will push the power of the vacuum without doing anything on your side; the light, I tried it with a low lighting inside the house and I was amazed on how you could see all the dust and crumb on your floor, the vacuum detects it and start to be more powerful (I couldn’t stop vacuuming because I was seing everything), you also have back lights going from white to purple in sync with the power suction; last but not least the wand that can bend to a 90 degree position, no more kneeling on the floor to go under the sofa!!!! When you are done you put it back on the base and pull back a trap that power up a suction, all the dust goes into the big white bin. I am very pleased, I have an old one from an other very well known brand, and my choice will go to this one, it is much more sturdy and more high tech. And I could do my whole house before running out of battery. There is also an odor neutralizer with a very nice scent. I think Shark went up their game. Wow

I wanted to love this vacuum, but sadly the maintenance is driving me to use a competitor's model more. Why? Not because it doesn't work but because there are so many filters to clean monthly (and some are already falling apart after just 2 months). There are at least 7 filters that need to be washed and then take 24-48 hours to dry (usually 48). 4 in the auto-empty dock and 3 in the vacuum itself. It's almost borderline ridiculous. With that said the vacuum itself is pretty nice, it seems to pick up everything I throw at it, though the non removeable fine mesh filter seems to clog quickly, requiring me to empty it more often than normal. This vacuum is definitely not going to replace your upright, I keep it upstairs for a quick cleanup, but that all its really used for now.

I absolutely love it! I bought it a month or two ago and I use it almost every day. I mainly bought it because I have 2 dogs and carpeted stairs. All the attachments are super helpful. It does a great job with picking up dog hair. I love that it has an automatic shut off if you accidentally go over something it shouldn’t pick up. The self cleaning is so convenient as well and I love that it charges while it’s docked so you always are ready to go. This is the 2nd shark product I bought, and I can totally see myself purchasing more with how impressed I’ve been so far.

I bought this a month ago after moving into our new (very old) house that is still under reconstruction after mold remediation. As you can imagine there is endless contractor messes and dust. This vacuum is a game changer! I was able to vacuum fully under a very dusty king size bed by adjusting the handle to the bendy-swivel setting (The bed arrived while I wasn’t home and my husband set it up without cleaning the floors first). I also have a lot of allergies which makes dumping the dust canister in any vacuum, a challenging event. This is game changer #2.. push a button and it all goes into a storage can. I haven’t had to empty this yet as it holds quite a lot. The battery lasts longer than expected and allowed me to thoroughly vacuum about 1,000 sq’ plus the stairs before dying. This came as a package with the VacMop which is also a helpful tool. It works great but I would still recommend vacuuming first unless it’s a smaller clean up. I don’t like chemicals and prefer natural cleaners. I use a vinegar based, organic floor cleaner in the VacMop and it works great.

I have two complaints about this vacuum -- the first is that it doesn't work smoothly on some of my carpets. It becomes impossible to push in certain directions making it useless as a vacuum for those. Second -- the tiny foam& felt filters get clogged immediately. They don't even get through my whole house before they are completely caked and dirt/dust is all the way through. I have the clean and empty base and that filter is also caked through and I can't find replacements for it. This machine is not cheap, so having two major problems like this is not acceptable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cordless PowerDetect clean and empty system is one of the best vacuums that I've ever tried. The suction power is powerful, and suctions every dirt, hair, and dust out there. The battery lasted a long time, and I was able to vacuum a lot of rooms and areas. The empty system is something so innovative because I truly disliked getting dirt and dust eveytime I had to vacuum all over the place. This empty system avoids the trouble of that because it's just a one time thing after multiple empty systems.
