[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing but battery doesn’t last as long as my previous devices.
These toothbrushes charge only via usb-a. There is no adapter for a wall plug. When you call Phillips support to get your adapters that the package says you are entitled to, they will only send you one. Their excuse is to reduce electronic waste. I would return them but my daughter and I both need toothbrushes. Very poor service from Sonicare
Love the new model!
This is an upgrade from my old Sonicare e-series which I had for 15 years. This new model is lighter and seems more powerful. We love the new model!
Intense
I'm sure it works just fine, but these torture devices need to come with a warning on the package: not suitable for sensitive gums, cheeks, tongues, and anything inside the mouth other than teeth. I've never used an electric toothbrush before, but I found out the intense vibration is WAY more than a "tickle" as I've heard from other users. I didn't last 30 seconds before I cried out, "No more!" A good pre-purchase test to see if you can stand it would be to clip a jumper cable on your car's 12-volt battery, then rub the opposite clips around the inside of your mouth (Satire Alert: Don't actually do this.) Electric shock is pretty much what this kind of vibrating toothbrush feels like.

No charger included, despite what package says
I got this product home and found it does not come with a wall charger, just a USB plug! I have a Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush but it doesn't use this type of USB charger, and who has a USB plug in their bathroom? Now I have to buy a splash-rated wall adapter to charge my toothbrush in the bathroom (where people tend to use these things, duh) and the Philips website doesn't make that easy either. They tell me the model I need, but I can't find it easily. I might just return the toothbrush, I'm so annoyed by this. The packaging has NO indication that you'll need an accessory to use this toothbrush in the bathroom. In fact, it clearly says "1 Charger" is included. Very misleading!
Hello there. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear about the confusion regarding the charger and that the packaging did not meet your expectations. At Philips, we are committed to reducing plastic waste. As part of our environmental efforts, some Philips products no longer come with a USB power adapter. While this may seem inconvenient, we have made this choice because many consumers already own one or multiple USB wall adapters. We continue to include the USB charging cable, which can be used with a compatible adapter. That said, we understand your concerns about clarity and accessibility, and we’d like to help you find a suitable solution. Please reach out to us directly so we can assist you further. You can contact us via Facebook/Instagram (@Philips) or X (@PhilipsCare). If you don’t use social media, you can also get in touch through our support page: https://www.usa.philips.com/c-w/support-home/support-contact-page Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us improve. Didn't last a year
This is like my 5th sonicare brush- not joking. They are all junk. Don't waste your money. They don't stand behind their products.

Smart Toothbrush Makes Brushing a Breeze
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit leery of a smart toothbrush, but there are a few specific features that drew me to the Philips Sonicare 6400 - first, that it would alert me if I was brushing too hard via a nifty light at the base of the brush, and second, that it would tell me when it was time to change the brush head. While I haven’t had the toothbrush long enough to use the second feature, I’ve already noticed a difference in my brushing technique from the real time feedback that this brush provides! My teeth feel cleaner, especially when I use the “whitening” mode that it offers (an extra 30 seconds of cleaning, meant to target the front section of your mouth), although the basic cleaning mode does a great job too and my mouth feels fresh when I’m done. I love that the brush provides a vibration alert/timer to move on to the next section of my mouth as I am brushing, and really appreciate that it’s meant to cover 6 sections of your mouth. It really helps compared to a manual brush and timer. Love the fact that it’s rechargeable and that it comes with a carrying case that can store two brush heads - it would be even better if the toothbrush could charge in the case, but I think that’s available in a different version. My one complaint about the case is that you have to make sure the brush is totally dry - I used it at work and then stuck the case in my purse without drying it thoroughly and a bit of water leaked out. Not a dealbreaker by any means - especially when it means that I am brushing after lunch! I also wish that the charger came with the wall plug; it’s a USB cable, so I just used a plug that I had from an old phone. Aesthetically, the black handle is pretty great. Very modern and clean looking. The black handle and case make it extra cool to use as a brush on the go. I received the Philips Sonicare 6400 Rechargeable Toothbrush from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I am absolutely in awe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first electric toothbrush I’ve ever owned, and now I can never go back. When this arrived, it came packaged very nicely with clear instructions to download the app. When I first picked up the body of the toothbrush, I immediately noticed how solid and well built it felt. It also lit up when I picked it up, so it has some sort of motion sensor built in. The heads come individually wrapped and have their own plastic cap so you can easily cover them when not in use. It also includes a nice travel case that can hold two heads and the body. The last item included is a usb charger that charges the toothbrush similar to a wireless phone charger. You just set it on the base and it lights up letting you know it’s charging. When you plug a head onto the body, the toothbrush has a small vibration to let you know it’s properly attached. Once it was fully charged, I turned it on and connected it to my phone via the Sonicare app. To my pleasant surprise, it connected effortlessly which is always a coin toss when trying to connect any device. The app is designed nicely and is easy to navigate, it basically coaches you on the best way to take care of your teeth. It even tracks your brushing and lets you know if you’re using the toothbrush correctly. Now onto the brushing portion… there’s a few settings to choose from. A clean, sensitive, and white option. Inside of those options are 3 different vibration strengths. I found that the clean selection on the high setting works best for me. When I tried to brush for the very first time, I underestimated how much this vibrates. The toothpaste vibrated right off the bristles the second I turned it on haha! Round two, I put the brush in my mouth before turning it on and had no toothpaste mishaps. It has changed what I thought clean teeth were. Prior, I genuinely thought my teeth were clean with a normal toothbrush. After using the Sonicare, I realize there is a completely different level of smooth teeth I’ve only ever had after the dentist. One of my favorite features is the “change areas” timer. Every 20 ish seconds the toothbrush has a little buzz change in the vibration letting you know to brush a different spot in your mouth. It also has a 2 minute timer that shuts off the brush so you know you’re not over or under brushing. Once you’re done brushing, you can easily clean the entire device by running it under the sink. It’s waterproof so you don’t have to worry about getting the buttons wet. If there was one small thing I could change about this, I’d include a wall plug in for the usb. Other than that, this thing is perfect. The Sonicare truly has changed the way I brush my teeth, and I look forward to using it every day. I’ll never go back to a regular toothbrush. *This product was received for free as part of the Stellar product testing panel.
