I really like the feel of the brush head on my teeth--it fits really comfortably. The handle is also easy to hold and intuitive with the start/stop button. I like how I get alerted when it is time to switch to a different area of my teeth/mouth. That comes in really handy so I don't have to pay attention to the time I am brushing. It automatically turns off, too, which is great. As for how well it cleans, I have zero complaints. My mouth feels clean and refreshed after using this toothbrush. It is easy on my teeth and gums but still gets into the nooks and crannies. I have used electric brushes in the past, but this one is the best that I have tried. I would highly recommend this to others looking for an affordable electric toothbrush that works phenomenally! Note: I received the product for free as part of a product test.

But this is definitely a step up from previous toothbrushes. I saw a great improvement in whiteness of teeth and also is cleaning up some of the little bit of tarter and plaque you get in-between dentist cleaning appointments. The 2 speeds are move faster than previous ones I have used in the past but you do need to be careful not to press to hard or it has enough power to give you sensitive spots. The high speed is great for some people but there is plenty of power in low speed to have clean, beautiful teeth.

I had always been interested in trying one of these models, since I had dabbled with other brands of electric toothbrushes in the past. I have to say that this model has spoiled me for all other brands. I will be ready to make the investment in a Sonicare toothbrush after the testing period ends. The timer keeps you on track, though I honestly feel I could go a little longer than the 2-minute allowance. The small size of the toothbrush head was disarming at first, but it guides you to focus on each brushing zone. I have already noticed a higher level of brightness in my tooth color, and I simply feel like I am pampering my gums. I highly recommend this toothbrushing system.

I think the price point is more than reasonable for this type of electric toothbrush. It does basically the same exact thing as my more expensive toothbrush but at half the cost. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Sonicare 5300 toothbrush is a very basic electric toothbrush option. It only has two intensity settings (both controlled by the same single button) and I sometimes found myself accidentally switching between the two settings. I preferred the stronger vibration. While the toothbrush does a good job of brushing and I did always feel “clean” when finished, I found myself wanting my older style toothbrush which has additional options (including an extra long cleaning cycle vs just a 2 min timer). In addition, I also found the vibration to be a bit extreme and the brush head would “chatter” against my teeth which isn’t an issue I’ve had with other toothbrushes. One other observation/frustrations is that while it includes a chafing cable, it does NOT include the wall adapter (which is more common these days). All in all it does a good job cleaning but has limited “extra” features. Note - I did receive a free unit of this toothbrush to test as part of a review promotion.

I love that I can see the battery life on the base, and the notification light for when I'm meant to change the brush head. My teeth definitely feel a difference! And don't worry if you need a lighter clean - this battery has two speed settings! I received this product for free for testing purposes and opinions are my own.

The battery lasts a long time and the construction is solid. I wish it had a couple extra brush functions, but for the price, you’re getting some great value.

After using this Sonicare for the past couple of weeks, I can honestly say that it has made a difference in my oral health. Not having prior experience with devices like Sonicare, it took me a time or two to get used to it but it is very easy to use. First off, I love the small brush head. It makes it so easy to get to every spot in my mouth, even way back behind my back teeth. I love that it has different levels of intensity so I can adjust it to what works best for me. It even has a program that starts low and increases intensity over time to allow you to acclimate to it which is super helpful. The instructions show an image of the teeth organized into zones so you can concentrate on one area at a time. The brush has a set time for each segment and gives you cue when it's time to move to the next section. I really like this feature because it helps me spend enough time to get my teeth really clean. The handle is designed in a way that fits very comfortably in my hand and makes it easy to control my brushing. I did find out that it's messy to start the brush before you put it in your mouth or if you leave it running when you take it out of your mouth to spit. I have quickly gotten used to it and now it feels very natural to use. My favorite thing about using this product is how clean and healthy my mouth feels. It reaches in to all the tight, hard-to-reach spots so everything gets cleaned. It really breaks up build up. Even brushing several times a day with my manual brush did not make my mouth feel this clean. I am really happy with this product so far.
