It's super quiet, lightweight, and the digital touch screen makes it incredibly easy to use. It’s also dishwasher safe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Bought This Item not long ago, This Grain and Rice Cooker is one of the many Items in our Kitchen that we use practically every day in multiple ways, No measuring needed at all, Great for cooking rolled oats and setting it the night before to be cooked and ready to eat the next morning, It is ready and saves time for having a hot breakfast before starting your day and allowing you the ability steam hard boiled eggs, we have used it to steam broccoli, beans, cooked jasmine rice in it, black beans and still using it to cook multiple items, going to steam potatoes and Brussel Sprouts and will be using it to cook by the timer feature while we focus on the entree. Now that we have purchased this KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker, we could never live without it.

I love that the water tank handles that portion so I don't need to think about it. It can cook a variety of things which is nice and it has a steamer insert as well which I love. It's easy to disassemble and the parts can be put in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. And I really enjoy the smart screen feature. Makes the whole thing feel very high tech. It's not too bulky and it's easy to move around and store.

A few years ago I was gifted a little manual rice cooker and started making brown rice and barley often. This make that process so much easier and the end product is so much better. I can’t wait to add additional rices and grains to my meals.

It has a much larger capacity than my prior simple / standard rice cooker. Nice auto water supply and dispensing. Nice, if small, option to steam some vegetables while cooking the rice, grains, or beans.
