Great variety of items it cooks including farro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m actually in disbelief about how easily this cooks so many things! I am on the Mediterranean diet and need to cook grains and this makes it so easy because you can prepare everything else while this does the grains without stirring!!!

Wow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice cooker is a lifesaver! This is the first one i have ever own, this Kitchenaid rice cooker is amazing! Its has multiple setting for rice, grains, and beans and it cooks all of them in under an hour. The first thing i made in it was Spanish rice and it literally came out perfect! The water dispensers mesures the water out for you, so no more over cooked rice. I never knew that i needed a rice cooker in my life until now!

The KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker is a convenie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker is a game-changer for anyone who loves perfectly cooked grains without the guesswork. With 21 presets, an integrated scale, and automatic water dispensing, it takes the hassle out of measuring and cooking. I make rice or quinoa a couple times a week and I’ll put some frozen veggies in the tray to steam and everything turns out perfectly each time! It’s also on the larger side, so counter space could be a consideration if that matters to you. Overall, it’s a solid choice for effortless, foolproof grain cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow its a magical machine! I always cook quinoa and had i known this machine makes perfect quinoa I’d have gotten one before. My previous quinoa was sad before and now its happy and fluffy! And so easy, just put the quinoa on the machine, water, press the buttons and let it do its thing! i didn’t have to time, worry, check what was happening (i have been distracted before and burnt it).this machine was amazing

FINALLY!!!! PERFECT RICE!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FINALLY!!!! PERFECT RICE!!!!!!! I cannot believe this appliance...I've tried everything!!!! stop top, oven, insta pot... you name it, I've tried it..... and never before have I been able to achieve rice that was tender and either not stick together in starchy, damp clumps or sticking to the cooking vessel. I live at high altitudes, so this came into play... but I've now used this rice cooker 8-10 times, for various rice, and each time it comes out tender, fall apart rice that looks like you see from restaurants..!!!! I wished I could give this product 100 STARS!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Incredible! Doesn't take as much space as I thought it would on my countertop. Everything was very easy to understand straight from the beginning. Has a lot of already programmed recipes and I am very glad it differentiates between dry and soaked beans and grains.

Trust me!! Buy this now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this rice maker a month. My only regret is not buying it sooner. It makes perfect rice. I have also used it to make sushi rice which is also absolutely perfect. Don’t hesitate it’s worth every penny! No scrubbing the pot when you are done rice just comes out clean. 5🌟

It can cook potatoes!

We got this for our anniversary and so far I absolutely love it! I used to make fun of people using rice cookers, because rice is easy to cook, you just need a pot of boiling water. Until I got one - then I used and abused that poor thing - it's just so much easier and it saves that big pot for the other stuff you might need to cook - like gumbo! Then I caught wind of this Grain and Rice Cooker from my husband who works in R&D at Whirlpool and we were both intrigued, we bought one when it was finally released. Boy am I glad we did. I have used it for more than cooking rice and grains, I've used the steamer basket to cook eggs (hard or soft boiled), Potatoes (small or cubed) and the rice/grain cooker to make basmati rice, couscous and lentils. I'm using the fast soak option right now for a bag of great northern beans. I know it's silly but being able to just plop some eggs in the basket and then leave it for 11 minutes is awesome and now I get why people used to have counter top egg cookers. It is a little pricey, but you know, being able to just dump your stuff in and have it weigh it and then dispense the right amount of water is amazing to be honest, and to cook potatoes without having them get waterlogged or need to watch them is great too - just dice them up and put them in the steamer basket or use small potatoes and put them in whole. I used fingerling potatoes and left them whole it took 10 minutes and they were perfect, I smashed them flat and put them in the oven for 'smashed potatoes'. The manual has the recommended steam times for everything from broccoli to whitefish - which I haven't tried yet, but suspect I will soon enough. The only issue I had was with the lentils, and I think they were kind of old since they just disintegrated. I'm going to reserve my judgment on how it cooks lentils after I try a fresh bag of brown lentils (these were old green ones). So far I have not had to tweak any settings, but I might have to do it for lentils at least if I want them to hold their shape.
