[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have some work to do to take full advantage of the grain and rice cooker. It works great for rice and beans. However, there is very little information included to tell how to do custom things. I would love to see more details in the manual and maybe some recipes that use them. Also, it would be great to see some recipes that add ingredients other than water to the pot and be able to make a full dish in it. That would help to align usefulness with price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am blown away by this thing. Definitely a set it and forget it type of thing. I was a little suspicious but it actually works. My rice came out fluffy and fully cooked. I love that it cuts the guessing work of how much water to add. I would like to try adding beans to it and see how it does. Definitely worth the investment. I don’t have to worry about making rice again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cooked cilantro lime rice as well as oatmeal following the recipe from the included booklet. Following the recipe the measurements were off compared to what the cooker recommended which I thought was odd. I added the amount of oats in the recipe but the amount of milk needed was much lower (less than half the amount). It came out nice and soft not mushy. It looks dry in the picture because I didn’t add much milk after the cook time. The rice came out perfectly every time. I like that the guesswork is taken out. You just have to decide how much grain you want to eat and make sure the water tank is filled up and it takes it from there. I wish the timer counted down instead of showing the overall recipe time. It only starts counting down once 10 minutes are left. The chime is a nice tune and not too loud or annoying. There is a minimum amount of weight you have to add to the pot however. I wanted to make only half a cup and it said I needed to add about 25 more grams. So not great for small or one person portions. It wouldn’t let me proceed until I added more rice. I like the cleaning function. Very useful for easily cleaning the pot so you don’t have to scrub it or leave it to soak in the sink. Overall, I enjoyed using it and am definitely adding it to the mix of appliances I regularly use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gadget is simply AWESOME!!!! I’ve done rice, beans and oatmeal. I did the texture on soft which is the perfect texture but we are at a higher elevation so I’m not sure if that mattered. I’m obsessed. The ease of use is great. You just add what you’re cooking then the machine does the rest, measuring out water. It’s nice because it doesn’t get hot on the outside so little kids won’t burn themselves. I’m so glad I get to use this from now on. I threw my old rice maker away :)

To be fair, I will acknowledge this likely could have been user error, so will run it through the cooking phases in the coming weeks experimenting with various settings.. Come back to me in a month and I'll have a much better review for you. I am, however optimistic this machine will rock as I am a Kitchen Aid fan.

The built in scale and automatic water dispensing make it super quick and easy to get the rice cooking and takes away the hassle that cooking rice once was.

It excels at cooking jasmine rice- turning out perfectly every time. The cooker is incredibly easy to use, with intuitive settings that make the process a breeze. One of my favorite features is its ability to prevent overfilling. If you accidently add too much grains, the cooker alerts you, ensuring tou never go over the limit. It also checks the evenness of the grain distribution, notifying you if things aren’t quite right, which helps in consistent cooking. However, when cooking beans, make sure to always soak them first! Without soaking, the beans may not cook thoroughly, but once soaked the cooker handles them well. Overall, this rice/grain cooker is a fantastic and user friendly appliance, especially for those who like to set and leave when cooking and if you love perfectly cooked rice every time. The helpful alerts for overfilling and uneven grains make it a foolproof option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I was a bit skeptical on how a machine will know how to cook rice perfectly just by weighing it. But I am not even exaggerating when I say the rice was so perfect, every grain of rice was cooked perfectly and was firm, no clumps. It was extremely easy to use as a first time user. I just rinsed rice and placed it in pot and then it weighed it while then adding the perfect amount of water on its own. I can’t wait to use this product to cook more items like oatmeal or beans.
