Should I return this?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not convinced that this is worth the $$$ The scale is very SENSITIVE which cautiously makes me question how long this will last. I make Oatmeal every morning& sometimes rice once a week. On two mornings using the same Oatmeal brand from day one (Dec 25,2025) it miscalculated the water amount on 2oz of rolled otas & over flowed. I couldn't understand what was done incorrectly. I want to love it but I'm not sure.If the scale stops working maybe the cooker will stop working!?

great appliance for many years to come

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this ricer to use for rice. I have been making oatmeal, beans, hard boiled eggs, risotto and even orzo. This machine has surpassed my exceptations. I love the fact that you add water to the reserviour and the dry rice, beans etc to the pot and the computer settings adjust the water according to what you are making. Seriously this could not be any easier to use, it also keeps your food warm for a very long time. It also comes with a little steamer bowl. You will not be disappointed. Again it is a Kitchenade need I say more.

Love this product !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the coolest kitchen appliances I have ever used. I initially thought it would only be good for rice, but then I read the mini cookbook that it came with and I realized all the different items that can be cooked in it, Not to mention the steaming rack! I had no idea that this machine had a touch screen. It is very good quality. So far I have only cooked white rice in it and it came out really fluffy and good. I would definitely recommend

The expensive worthy rice cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an expensive item, but you wife loves it and thinks it is worth it (even though she did not pay for it). The rice cooker makes cooking rice a breeze and it always comes out as one would hope. So, worth it but it will cost you.

Makes cooking rice/grains seamless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed this appliance! I have used several times since receiving it and am a huge fan. I love that it measures the accurate amount of water as this is always something I had difficulty keeping consistent with my previous rice maker. I also love that it can be used with various grains. It is very versatile, and an added bonus is how sleek it looks on the countertop!

2-in-1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine automatically measures how much beans or rice you put in the pot, then adds the appropriate amount of water to cook it. There’s a timer that is set according to how much rice or beans there is in it. It has a touch screen where you can choose what kind of grain or bean you put in the machine. It comes with a large capacity water storage jug. This machine is on the pricier side, but if you are someone who eats rice or dried beans often- and doesn’t own a rice cooker or pressure cooker, I’d opt for this rather than a rice cooker or pressure cooker because of the versatility, 2-in-1 machine.

Christmas gift to ME!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a Christmas gift to ME. I'm happy so far. However I think it is too early to leave and review. The scale is very sensitive I've had some touch & go moments with it. Time will tell the longevity of this cooker.

Thoughtfully designed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main reason I made the purchase was to avoid stove-top spill-over messes when steaming rice. After trying various settings and options offered when making rice - manual or automatic, rinsed or not, I have found the KitchenAid does an excellent job with rice, although I'm still looking to obtain slightly more stickiness in the cooked rice. It does require about 16 minutes more time than my gas stove stop preparation when making rice; and, more time for steaming vegetables than with my conventional electric steamer too. But I like the results. I like no mess. I like "turn it on, walk away" too. I'm looking forward to cooking beans. It has a compact footprint. It sits under the overhead cabinet nicely. I give it a 4.8 rating - slightly less than full 5 stars only because the cooking time of the unit is a bit slow - 35 minutes to cook a cup of white rice.
