Have just assembled this and not had a chance to use it once, but the components seem to be of quality. Little things could be better; The hanger for pants seem to loosely hang on weak hooks crooked, there isn't a storage space to keep the brush component over the steam nozzle when not in use, some clips to keep the steam hose organized on the telescoping pole would be great, even better would be some additional storage on board when you want to collapse the entire unit down and store it all away in a compact manner.

Thank you! I am so thrilled. My daughter is getting married this weekend, and bridesmaids are wearing satin. Just steamed my first item and it was a heavenly experience after being so disappointed with two hand held products that just couldn’t handle the job. Yay!! Easy to assemble. Heats up quickly and does the job. Thank you!

I used to make do with little hand-held steamers. But they were a drag when I needed to steam more than one garment at a time. I finally spent the money to upgrade to a high-capacity steamer with a substantial water tank and that supports it's own hanger. It was so worth it! If functions very well. Consider that it can pay for itself in saving the costs of dry-cleaning. Also, the company supports replacement parts (my fault in misplacing the tank cap) which matters a lot to me, both for my pocketbook and for sustainability values.

On the first test run on 5 garments it performed beautifully. The 1800 watts is key getting the job done faster. The unit looks very well made, the telescopic pole is very smooth and just the right height so that I do not have to bend over. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros: This steamer heats up quickly. The steam hose is flexible and is a good length. Cons: The two clips at the top that are intended to hold clothing are not strong enough to hold a pair of light weight dress pants. The unit should at least have an attachment to hang a shirt for steaming.

Don't know why I waited so long to get a garment steamer. We've had it for just a few weeks now, but are already so very impressed by the speed and ease with which we can eliminate the wrinkles in our clothing. Also love that it heats up in just one minute and holds enough water that it's not continually needing refills.

This review is only for the product construction and design. I have not actually used it yet. Very easy set up. Nice looking, low profile and seems to be constructed well. Looks like “standard grade” plastic used to construct body and parts. The hanger is rather small on the ends and probably won’t shape larger shoulders/sleeves.I also question the durability of the hanger. Can it handle heavy garments? It has no cord storage. There is nothing to lock the water tank into place so the cord (wrapped up) inserted into the tank handle pulls the tank out. The steam head will not seat in its holder with the pants clip attached. I love the big on/off foot pedal. The water tank has great capacity. The steam hose is very thick and durable but very stiff. I hope it relaxes once in use. I do wish the steam head had a swivel connection to the hose. The telescoping height is good. I don’t think it warrants being described as “commercial” Over all, I think I will like this steamer a great deal.

I originally bought this steamer because iron clothing was taking too long. Ever since I started using this steamer, I have saved time, and my clothes have been wrinkle free just like it would be taking your clothes to the dry cleaner. I highly recommend this steamer.

I upcycle clothing which need a lot of love after a food wash. Ironing was too time consuming and my portable streamer ran out of steam after one garment. This has made my life so much easier and looks amazing when finished. I also crochet squares that need blocked and this works great for those acrylic yarns too.

I am enjoying my new Salav steamer. I like the tall pole for holding clothes while steaming and for “parking” the steamer head. And although it doesn’t steam as much and fast as my previous steamer, it’s easy to avoid burning myself and still does a good job. The large capacity for water is another convenience.
