We've had this ice maker for about 3 weeks now and it has been great. I clean it every 7-10 days to keep is running perfectly. It takes about 10 minutes to clean. I set up a schedule to ice is ready when we wake up every morning so it doesn't run all night. The app works great and allows me to control it remotely if necessary. I would highly recommend this machine.

Love the nugget ice. The only problem I have is the ice maker will not work when the filter is installed. I use water from my refrigerator which has a filter but the water in ice maker still needs a filter because it is not removed with just the screen.

I am so glad we bought it! the price is a bit steep, but the pellet ice is the best. So far the machine is working great. It does make noise when making ice, but otherwise quiet. The cleaning is easy and keeps the ice tasting great. Hoping this last many, many years.

These are garbage. They are noisy out of the box and only get worse with time. The ice is good but it takes A LOT of work keeping it going. You need to clean it at least once a week or you can't hear much over the noise. I started using distilled water in hopes to keep the mineral build up down. But now this is getting very time consuming and expensive. Just disappointed.

After fighting with another company and having their nugget ice machine replaced multiple times, we have been very happy with the operation of this machine. Production is fast and the extra water tank on the side is a fantastic feature. The only thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars is the weak water draw from the side tank into the machine. If the inlet hose is not perfectly flat it can easily stop feeding water into the machine even with a full tank.

COOLEST ICE MAKER EVER!!! Pun intended haha! It's so sleek, so efficient, I LOVE that it's wifi integrated and has the extra water tank so I don't have to fill it as much and it's an energy saver and the ice is always fresh!!! The GOOD ICE!!! Feeling luxurious like a 5 star hotel in my own home!!!

We love our Opal Ice Maker! The ice tastes great, the appliance itself is attractive, and it is easy to use. Cleaning it periodically is kind of a pain, but any ice maker would need this to be done, and the longer we have it the easier that process will become. We have to fill the tank every 2-3 days for our family of 4, but only 2 of us use it regularly. So glad we bought this!

Some people might say having your own crushed ice maker makes you a little bougie and truth be told, they're probably right. However upon being presented one for my birthday, I realized how insanely practical this fine little shiny machine of unbridled joy actually is. You see, now I am no longer held hostage by the evil little nugget ice bagging billionaires & globalist QSR cuck shills of Sonic Corp/Inspire Brands & THAT is the gift that (literally) keeps on giving. So, if that's bougie and being bougie is wrong, I aint even ever tryna be no amount of right! #IceIceBougieBaby

So I had the original build and it was good however the new GE is AWESOME!!! It's much better looking , makes lot more ice and it's the life if the party every time !!! What can be better than great crushed ice ??? Nada , Nothing , Zilch !!!! Love this machine and you will too!!!!

We love the ice that the this little machine makes. The sleek design of the machine itself and the option of lighting within the holding bin makes such a pretty display on your counter. It could use a little more insulation to keep the noise level down. Perfect ice, easy to use and makes ice so quickly. Love it!
