The ice is amazing! It's denser and lasts longer in drinks than the burger and chicken fast food ice, and you don't have to worry about if the fast food place passed its Health Department ice maker test. I get ice within 15 minutes. I just wish it was at a lower cost.

Yes, it is a General Electric product that functions very well, without interruptions and without alarms and strange operational procedures. I am totally satisfy, and enjoy it all the time for drinking water, juices, sodas, and fo sure my spirits and "on the rocks" scotch.

I love the ice maker, works awesome. Makes ice very fast. I love the app function that keeps you in tune with the ice maker. Pros, it recycles the melted ice back to the side tank to remake ice. Cons, it takes up counter space. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Love the ice maker, but I will say it definitely takes maintenance. If it starts to makes any squeak noise it just means it needs descaling or will need it soon. You’ll have to do it about every 2 weeks or so. Even with having to do that it’s definitively the best I’ve maker on the market!

This version is good. I hate the squealing noise it makes at times. I had the version prior and it sucked. started having problems right away and now it is garbage. I don't have time to call the company and get this fixed. I believe they should work as describe. It is still a bit big to fit under my counter, which is frustrating a bit. Installation was easy and has a good capacity for one to two people.

If you have ever thought about getting this…. Just do it! I put it off for 6 months and finally bought one. I can’t say enough good stuff about this. The ice is wonderful and holds in my yeti cup for hours. If you do purchase this I highly recommend the side tank. It makes life so much easier. The WiFi feature is so wonderful. I set it for dinner and we have a bin full of ice ready to go. Don’t hesitate if you have ever thought about getting one of these. I wish I would have bought it sooner than I did! Cleaning is so easy and the filters do last.

We had been unhappy with our built in icemaker (upright Samsung Frig/frz), but we go through a lot of ice every day, and short of a large commercial icemaker we thought we had no options. By chance I happened across this gem.... It does take a bit more counter space than we'd like, but the ice and speed of production is excellent. (we use distilled water only, so no matter the beverage its's the only thing talking to your taste buds.) Would highly recommend.

Do not buy this machine. We had one less than a year when it started to flash add water to a full machine. We contacted GE did all the tricks they said to do which did not work. We were sent another machine which was nice but that machine started to do the same thing as the other. Contacted GE once again but at that time it had been 2 months over the 1 year original purchase date and warranty was no longer good. I was instructed parts for these machines do not exist and was offered a discount on my next GE purchase. Poor quality and unable to be repaired. A lot of money for something that did not work more than 1 year.

Easy to set up. Great phone app to program when to start making ice before you get home from work and when to turn off. Perfect ice nuggets that are chewable. Makes a lot of ice in a short amount of time. Kept up with our party of 25 people. Are family all enjoys this ice machine. Fits perfectly on a standard depth countertop and under the upper wall cabinets as long as you have a min of 17"of height space. Matches our Black Stainless appliances very nice.

So far we are really enjoying this icemaker. It makes excellent ice for chewing and it’s pretty fast as well. There are a couple of cons. It does sometimes make noise and we just turn it off for a bit and this seems to take care of it. The other con is the price. Seems a bit expensive for what it is. But we still love it.
