So far, this unit has worked flawlessly. It’s been about a month and we’ve never turned it off. It gets continuously used and we have yet to run low on ice because it makes it faster than we need. It’s amazing how fast it makes the ice. Fairly easy setup too. Recommend!

Once my built in ice maker broke after years of use, I took a chance on the 2.0 GE profile I’ve maker and have been nothing but please with how easy, fast, and great this unit works. Pretty much plug it in, and after going through the clean cycles, you have ice within the first hour of using it. Great Product and highly recommend!!

Absolutely love this product! It’s certainly not our only GE appliance and won’t be our last. Currently looking at the 8 in 1 air fryer but this machine holds up to all the hype. Definitely a small investment but worth every penny! Beautiful look too!

I bought the model with the side water tank. It was easy to set up and I was making ice in no time at all! As soon as I remove ice from the full bin, it automatically starts making ice again. I'm not longer a slave to my broken ice maker in the refrigerator! Highly recommended!!!

I bought this for the wife for Christmas because she craved it when she was pregnant with our children. Sixteen year down the road, they now make them for the counter top! There has not been a day where we have not used the icemaker. Yes, it does hum, but that is to be expected from a refrigeration device, but not annoyingly. The descaling process is not difficult, but it is tedious. Despite that, I am still giving this 5 stars.

I love the ice, but this machine is horribly loud. When it is defrosting, I cannot hear the television that is on in the same room. If I am upstairs sleeping it will wake me up. I will be reaching out to GE to see if this is how this item should be or is this one a lemon.

I use to have to stop at certain places within our town to get chewable ice. Now I have a steady supply right at home! The app allows you to program the run time on the machine so the ice is ready when you are. I’ve even turned my machine on remotely before I left work!

not worth the price. started leaking and made sure cleaning cycle was done, GE sent out a new one under the one year warranty and had to return the original one. now at the one year mark the replacement makes loud blending machine sounds. just junk, if you spend money its best to get one hooked up to a water line (so u do not have to keep ing up the side bottle and not get a GE ice maker. it makes all kinds of sounds all day.

I had been putting off getting this beautiful ice maker for some time, but recently received it for a gift. This ice maker is AWESOME. Setup is easy. It's quick, and holds its own when company comes. Someone accidentally turned it off and the bin was nearly empty, but it quickly caught up and there was enough ice for everyone. The ice it makes doesn't melt super quick and is great in all types of drinks. My daughter loves it in her water, I make cocktails with it, and we also use it in iced coffee. Some reviews say that it's loud, and although you can hear it while it's making ice, it's not obnoxious. Much quieter than most kitchen appliances. Aside from the main sound from the condenser, the other sound I think others are complaining about mainly comes from the reservoir "vibrating" against the ice maker. I've found if you slightly pull it away from the ice maker, its quieter. When it's done making ice, you can't even tell it's on. The water reservoir is great and holds enough water for my family of four using it daily to where I only have to fill it about every other day. The night light is a nice feature and has two brightness levels, or you can turn it off. For some reason it connects to wi-fi so you can check the app and see that it's making ice. It's not a needed feature, but cool if you're into that sort of thing. Yes it's pricy, but after using it for about a month now, I would definitely spend it again, if this one breaks.

This is my favorite item in the house. The ice is perfectly sized, and this appliance is so worry-free. Once it is set up, the only thing you have to do is make sure the water tank is not empty. This is the perfect appliance for all my outdoor activities - the ice is always ready to put into the mini cooler. I love this product so much that I bought one for upstairs.
