Our Samsung refrigerator ice make has always been a pain since we bought it. Clogs up weekly . Complaining to my husband constantly, he bought me this for Christmas! I LOVE IT! the best ice for us ice lovers! Small and soft, perfect. we only use the fridge for ice water now.

I like how it makes the ice , i don’t like the sounds. It’s louder than the dish washer or as loud. also I should come with auto clean features that do not require undoing the water tubes - that machine is heavy - not easy on my back to move for cleaning. i would recommend BUT it’s very expensive.

We are a family of 4, and this holds up well to our constant use. We empty it multiply times a day. It's run pretty much nonstop since March. I DO clean it regularly. I learned with my previous ice machine, that keeping it clean is the key to longevity. AND it matches my GE Profile kitchen appliances!

Great quality ice machine! There is a little issue but I can deal with it. The design that the meted ice water goes back into the fill tank is great, except that means when you open to get ice, the condensation on bottom of ice tray drips water all over the counter. Other than that- this makes the best nugget ice!

Love having the crushed ice whenever! Keeps up better than our refrigerator ice maker. Sets on the kitchen counter.Slides under cabinet & doors still have plenty of opening access. We have the side water container which I would highly recommend. Only have to fill about every other day. Only complaint is the shrill squeal when in defrost mode. Any remedy for this would be greatly appreciated!

We have had several Ice Machines and this machine is very easy to use and operate. Its amazing how much Ice we use. I dont run our city water thru the machine to much hard minerals. We go thru a 5 gallon filter water jug in about two week. Lots of ice.

Ive been buying nugget ice from a food chain for over a year and I’ve been seeing this ice maker all over the internet.. I did some research and I decided to give it a go. I have to say it’s the best purchase I’ve made this year. It’s worth every penny

This ice is the best! A couple things I wish were different are how often it needs cleaned- the ice starts tasting funny after a few days and the machine needs cleaned... didn’t expect it to be this often and it’s a little bit of a process to clean it. Also the hq app constantly says no internet when I have full internet- so I have to close out and try again just to chance one thing on a schedule, and often times even closing out of it, it does the same thing- it’s super frustrating! Am I glad I have it? Yes. Would I spend this amount on it knowing what I know now? No!

I didn’t know nugget ice makers even existed until it was included on an article with expensive items you don’t need but don’t regret buying. This was out of my comfortable price range but I needed something to keep me cool through the summer as we have no AC. This ice maker has helped get me through the hot 104°+ days. I honestly just snack on this ice at the hottest parts of the day and it cools my body down so much. Any other ice maker could do that too yes, but this one makes small, gentle on your teeth, easy to chew ice. I only use bottled water and drinks also taste so much better, especially with tea, soda, or just by itself. It does take a bit for the bin to fill up but I have the app to schedule it to turn on an hour and a half to two hours before I’m even up so there will be plenty ready when I am. Once you have that first batch, it’s easy for it to keep up the rest of the day so you never run out. It’s not refrigerated but the ice keeps well that even if you leave it for several hours, there will still be a lot waiting because it takes a while for it to melt completely. Now the downside of all this is that, the upkeep is a lot of work. It asks to be sanitized once a week at least. This cleaning cycle is a tiny bit of bleach with water, then a few rinse cycles. I’m sure this is to prolong the life of the ice maker but that seems excessive so I usually stretch it to once every two weeks. To offset that, I empty any remaining water from that day and wipe down the bin, the reservoir, and all along the walls every night before putting fresh water in for the morning. The descale warning already came up for me a month into using the maker but it’s regularly on all day so that might be why. It’s the same process as before but with vinegar and has to be left for 18 hours so you’ll be a day without ice. Other than that, this has been one of the best purchases I‘ve ever made. I just hope it lasts for a few years before it gives out because of the hefty price. If you can afford it, don’t mind the regular maintenance, and want your own sonic ice at your disposal, it’s well worth getting.

Perfect modern design! We decided to upgrade from our old ice maker and could not be happier with the decision! The modern design goes perfectly with our newly upgraded kitchen. The ice bin capacity lasts when hosting guests, you can barely hear the unit when ice is being made and the cleaning/draining functionality is very user friendly!
