We go through a lot of ice in our house. We previously had double ice make and when we upgraded the refrigerator we purchased one with ice in the top and the spheres on bottom. I didn’t realize the spheres only made 6 a day. We bought this ice maker to keep up with our needs and we love it. Only down side is having to clean it frequently. It’s fairly easy but a hassle nonetheless. If you have hard water I recommend using distilled water for the machine. Makes ice quickly and quietly as well. We bought a second unit for my youngest as she will be going to school. She was ecstatic.

The ice maker is extremely loud, to the point it sounds like something is broken.

We loved our ice machine while it worked. It was easily the favorite thing in our house. Every one of us used it every single day. I was in charge of the maintenance of the machine and I was meticulous with it. I cleaned the machine faithfully on schedule and we always used distilled water. Then one day it just stopped working. I followed all the instructions on what to do for what the possible issues could be but nothing worked. We are all so disappointed. For the cost of the machine this should not be happening. And then to not be able to get it worked on or repaired anywhere is frustrating.

This ice machine has been wonderful and user friendly. It produces very well. My family has loved having it for convenience. Low noise levels, and easy to integrate with your kitchen appliances without looking off.

Doesn’t work very well. I only used distilled water. It’s been turning off randomly. Already had issues with the water filter clogging the flow of the machine giving me an “add water” error when everything is full.

I had another lesson expensive brand and it was noisy and I was constantly filling it. This machine is amazing. Quiet and makes great ice.it is a large machine but for everything it is and does , well worth it.

We used to run out of ice everyday, now we never do! It works like a champ and keeps the bin full of ice. The extra water tank is such a time saver. The machine looks great on the countertop!

Absolutely love this machine. It is quieter than the built in ice maker on my GE frig and I love the nuggets it produces. The additional water reservoir is a must have. Even with little ice use, without the reservoir, you’d be refilling the after twice a day. It’s making and keeping up with two people that frequently use ice. It makes ice quietly and quickly and looks great. It’s nice to have the WiFi connectivity to keep up with maintenance but I’ve not needed it. Still, it’s nice have all of my appliances on one app. The drip tray is a must because when you pull the ice drawer out it will ALWAYS drop water. I would like to see less water mess when pulling out the drawer but I’ll accept it with the drip tray, though I’d like to see the drip tray attach in a way the reservoir stand does. As it is now, the drip tray can easily be knocked out of position, even off the counter altogether. There are only two things I’d like to see. One is scoop storage. I’ve seen mention of a magnetic device that holds the scoop on the side of the machine but obviously mine didn’t come with it, which is disappointing for the price. Secondly, I think a, aluminum or stainless steel scoop would have been preferable to the plastic one, but those two things are far from deal breakers.

I would give it five stars because of the quality and amount of ice it makes except the design of the machine where the buttons are is poorly designed. Also the cleaning button constantly flashes. With the GE app there is no way reset it after descale it. Ice is great, design needs improvement.
