Not one thing I can negative about the Opal Ice Maker..what's not to love from the ease of use and the Ice. Especially love the feature of side tank for my household who likes ice.

The GE Opal Ice Maker was easy to set up and is very simple to operate. Everyone lives the ice that is made and WiFi connection makes it easy to program. It fits almost anywhere and does not need a connected water source.

The ice is all that I hoped it would be. This is a quality machine. There are less expensive machines that claim to make similar ice, but this machine is stout and worth the extra cost. Easy to install.

I now use these ice chips more than the ice from our refrigerator. We bought it to have extra ice when we have family get togethers etc. However I find this is my preferred ice so I use it daily.

We are water snobs and ice hogs. Absolutely love that this machine keeps ups with 6 adults and our ice habits. Honestly, only complaint is the frequency of cleaning. We use Reverse Osmosis system that removes all impurifications in the water.

We had the ice maker for 2 weeks when it started to make horrible noises and quit making ice. Currently waiting on opal support to help rectify the situation.
