I have heard from friends how much they love the GE Opal ice maker. I bought one as a gift for a friend and they absolutely love it. "Best gift ever!"

This product is awesome, starting from the ice it makes to the dual tanks for water to the smooth and easy touch buttons to the app. So far couldn't ask for a better ice machine.

Very pleased with the ease of installation and the detailed instructions. Very well packaged and it seems to be a great design. Looking forward to years of use. I do not give it 5 stars because I was hoping the nuggets were bigger.

In efforts to make more room in our freezer and get rid of all the ice trays and have more space for breast milk in our freezer and have my favorite ice readily available during pregnancy we got this as my push present and it is amazing!!!

The ice maker in fridge died. It was quite lucky that it did because really wanted this machine. It pairs perfectly with my Bartesian cocktail machine!

I HAVE HAD A DIFFERENT MODEL FOR YEARS .... I HAVE A SMALL BUSINESS OUT OF OUR HOUSE AND EVERYONE LOVES LOVES LOVES THIS ICE .... THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR MY FAMILY AND THE SMALL KIDS LOVE TO JUST EAT IT

Easy installation and makes ice quickly. The ice does not freeze into clumps but stays fresh and loose whether icemaker is on or off. We do not find the machine noisy.

I love sonic ice and this ice maker has been awesome. I use to buy two bags of sonic ice a week but with this ice maker I do not have to go to Sonic to get ice.

Makes beautiful ice, but it makes so much noise (sounds like cats fighting) and the the compressor sometimes sounds like a lawn mower. And yes, we run the descaling mode as required. It still makes the noises. We'll likely have to return this soon.

I love the chew on ice. I've loved the “good” ice for so long and would comment how I wish we could have that ice at home. Well now I have and I chomp on it all the time! Easy to use!
