Worked great and I loved it…for a few months. Then it started making steeply loud grinding noise and won’t drop ice. I thawed it and cleaned it and started it again after a few days and it wouldn’t make any ice.

My husband bought this for me for Mother’s Day. It’s been plugged in for just 4 hours and I am happily enjoying my ice...I have become the Oprah of good ice to my friends. You get ice, you get ice, everybody gets good ice!!!!

So far this has been a great experience. The setup was easy and the ice maker is really great. It does have a refigerator sound and you can hear the ice when it moves through the end of the tube and when it drops but it isn't bothersome.

I have purchased TWO. I thought it was my fault that the first one quit working due to using well water. Only used bottled water on 2nd one. It lasted 7 months. Never could get anyone af customer service. Terrible quality for such a high price.

Everything I hoped for! Finally have my "Sonic" ice at home. Just wish it was an inch shorter to fit under kitchen cabinets by refrigerator. Instead, it has to be in the laundry room.

This ice machine is the best. It starts making ice quickly and the bin of ice stays full. It's easy to clean and you can get right back to making ice.

I am an ice fanatic, hate the freezer burnt taste of ice. Love having fresh made ice needed. Being able to schedule ice production is the absolute best !

Best small appliance in my kitchen. We use it everyday. We delayed buying for two years because of complaints about noise. Ours is NOT noisy at all. We love it. Great product. Wished the price would come down a bit.

I had purchased an opal when they first came out by 1 build for the office. It got a lot of use! Now that GE has purchased the opal, it is even better.
