We absolutely love this ice maker! I choose my restaurants based on two things - their ranch dressing (lol) and their ice. I will go out of my way to have crunchy ice in my life...and now I don't have to! This is the perfect little fluffy crunch nugget - just like the hospitals give you. We worried about the ice melting, but its not an issue because we love it so much it doesn't last long enough to melt. I recently visited family out of state, and I wish I could have taken it with me. I was so happy to have it back in my life after a week away!

We have had the Scotsman pebble ice makers for years but with the family size shrinking, no need for the larger bin of pebble ice. This product produces beautiful pebble ice without the need for a separate water line to be installed and no drain pump is required. Easy peasy.

Makes good ice. Why not a 5 star rating? It can be kind of loud when making ice. The instructions for set up not great. But it is not that hard. Wifi and remote start operation a bit flaky, but that will likely improve over time with an update to the mobile app

One of my friends got one for Christmas and I fell in love with it, so for my birthday my husband got me one! Our friends and family call this our "boujie ice maker" but when they come over they all fill up their cups before they go home! It's the best ice and when I fix my 4yr old some drink she always tells me she wants the good ice!

When it works it is GREAT! However….I have had this unit for about 4.5 months and it quit working. Getting help has been difficult and getting a replacement has been almost impossible. This was a very expensive Christmas gift that should never give these kinds of problems this soon. My sister got one for me and one for her daughter…both had/have to be replaced. No reason for this.

Makes ice fairly quickly and is good quality ice, not mushy but firm, crunchy like it is supposed to be. Stays that way over time. Have in utility room - not sure I could see this out in an open area - not super noisy but does make some noise. Definitely get the extra water tank - even with two people we use it a lot and need to fill the extra water container maybe every other day. (It is summer in TX so prob won't use as much in winter).

Had this unit for a little over a month. It makes enough ice to keep up with my needs plus ice to spare. The app which allows you to set a schedule to turn the unit off and on is super convenient and it is nice having ice made and waiting when I get home. Some have said they thought the unit was noisy, but I don't think the noise is an issue. Sometimes when filling the side tank it will air lock and it shows the add water indicator when there is still water in the tank, but I've found by removing and reinstalling the tank and allowing it to bubble, the issue resolves itself. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

We wanted two things out of an icemaker: 1) Extra ice when we host dinner or patio parties and 2) a machine that produced "Sonic" ice (nuggets). This machine fits nicely on the counter in our wet bar and meets both requirements. We considered buying a built-in model for 3 X's as much + the remodeling of the cabinetry and we're much happier with this cheaper but just-as-good option.

I have this product a 4 out of 5 because it is loud! If you don't want to have the noise you will need to put it in an area that is not a common area. For example if you put it in your kitchen it will disrupt conversation because of how loud it is. Other than that it is a great ice machine! Also it is pricey.

The set up process was easy by following the quick start guide, the only place of slight confusion was #5 in the steps was missed but appeared to be more of a numbering error than direction error. The ice maker was quick and started producing ice right away. It was relatively quiet and looked sleek with the light. The ice was easy to scoop and didn't freeze together. It made my drink taste that much better! All of my guests were impressed and it was convenient to not have people in and out of my freezer trying to get ice. I highly recommend this product and can't wait to use it again!
