I did not know that you could keep the ice maker going around the clock. I thought it was just for special occasions. We have not stopped it from making ice for two weeks since we bought it. The noise complaints by others are unwarranted. It is not very noisy at all.

This produces a higher quality of ice than my refrigerator can make. The extruded pebble ice goes wonderfully with coke or other sodas. It’s also almost required for tiki (rum) drinks. I would seriously recommend the storage tower add on. I am currently refilling the tower with water about twice a day as the family enjoys this ice better than the foggy half moons our refrigerator makes.

The product makes great ice very quickly and the ice bin holds it frozen. The WiFi feature allows for easy status monitoring. The one downside is that the ice maker is a bit noisy throughout all of its cycles. Since we have set this up in the basement, the noise isn't an issue for us. It is not ideal as a kitchen countertop appliance.

I had been putting off getting this beautiful ice maker for some time, but recently received it for a gift. This ice maker is AWESOME. Setup is easy. It's quick, and holds its own when company comes. Someone accidentally turned it off and the bin was nearly empty, but it quickly caught up and there was enough ice for everyone. The ice it makes doesn't melt super quick and is great in all types of drinks. My daughter loves it in her water, I make cocktails with it, and we also use it in iced coffee. Some reviews say that it's loud, and although you can hear it while it's making ice, it's not obnoxious. Much quieter than most kitchen appliances. Aside from the main sound from the condenser, the other sound I think others are complaining about mainly comes from the reservoir "vibrating" against the ice maker. I've found if you slightly pull it away from the ice maker, its quieter. When it's done making ice, you can't even tell it's on. The water reservoir is great and holds enough water for my family of four using it daily to where I only have to fill it about every other day. The night light is a nice feature and has two brightness levels, or you can turn it off. For some reason it connects to wi-fi so you can check the app and see that it's making ice. It's not a needed feature, but cool if you're into that sort of thing. Yes it's pricy, but after using it for about a month now, I would definitely spend it again, if this one breaks.

I lived in an area where I was supposed to go 5-6 weeks before cleaning. I started getting notices after 3 days that it needed to be descaled. We switched to using distilled water, and that didn't help either. If we went a week without cleaning, the machine would start making moaning noises.

We are absolutely loving the icemaker. It has the small, pebble-like ice that we like. My family goes through ice like there is not tomorrow...with the side bin for water this machine keeps up quite nicely. It fills the ice bin quickly and I have a routine where I refill the water bin before I go to bed at night. The machine does make some quirky noises but it specifically states that it does in the instructions. Most of the time we don't even notice it. It is aesthetically pleasing and looks good on the counter...kind of tucked into the corner out of the way. I would definitely recommend this product and would buy it again.

So far so good, it started making ice within minutes. It makes some noise when making ice, but not so much to interrupt a movie or conversation. I love the fact that I can monitor it remotely through the app. It's a pretty hefty appliance and will take a good amount of counter space, but I love this kind of ice, so it's a small sacrifice to pay. The ice maker has a self clean function, so I keep it near my sink to make things easier when cleaning it. It has a hose in the back of the unit that must drain once the cleaning cycle is complete, so i simply detach it and drain it straight into the sink. The ice maker is pricey, so its more of a luxury item for me, but so far its worth it because I love ice with all my drinks. Dentist also recommend this sort of ice for anyone that loves to chew ice, like myself.

My wife and I always loved when a restaurant or event served nugget ice. For us, this was a great home solution. The size is not too big. Use and care seem to be very easy so far. We have owned this product for over (2) months. So far, so good. Hopefully it will last a long time.
