We previously had a Kitchenaid Ice Maker that was incredibly inferior. The GE profile Opal Ice Maker is far superior, external tank easy to use, and the water filter is exceptional. The ice is perfect and supplements the fridge ice maker. I would recommend to anyone

Been looking for an ice machine that makes Sonic ice. This is it. My wife said this is the best gift I ever bought her. Easy to use, and makes a lot of ice rather quickly. We have a family of 4, and we have never ran out of ice, or even came close to running out. Some reviews said it is loud sometimes, but it isn't any louder than our fridge. Great product, so far so good. We all love it.

Great little ice maker. Doesn't take much counter space and doesn't require water hook up. Easy to add water. A little pricey. WiFi control allows smart scheduling so ice is available when you need it. Requires frequent cleaning, but this is a small price to pay for high quality ice. I did purchase 5yr warranty when I bought the machine. I am pleased with purchase.

Ice maker was delivered in a very sturdy package. I was impressed with the packaging and easy setup. I was making ice in no time at all. The LED light is a nice touch. The only thing is that it seems like I'm always adding more water to the side tank. That's how fast this ice maker can make ice.

I've been wanting one of these ice makers since they came out years ago. I absolutely love mine! The app is also convenient with scheduling your next batch of ice. It's nice to be sitting many miles away and turn it on, so I have fresh ice when I arrive home. Whether I'm making my Lotus energy drinks or preparing to sit down to dinner with my family, we have a full supply of "the good ice"!

I have wanted this for years and resisted because of the price.I have had two other countertop icemakers and while those were good, this one is spectacular. The ice does not stick together like when you buy a bag of nugget ice. The ice making keeps up with our big family. The only negative is that the app is pretty lame. I would buy this icemaker again and again.

This is a great product. Easy to use, makes fantastic ice and looks great sitting on the counter. We love 'Sonic Ice'--if you've ever had a drink from the Sonic Food Chain, you know what I am talking about. The ice is soft and keeps drinks cold for a long time. It is a great addition to our kitchen and our friends love it.

From the first day we got the machine it has made a terrible grinding noise. We can only have it on for a short amount of time and then have to turn it off. I have only been able to fill the ice bin one time. And we can't get the side tank to work either. We have to make sure the reservoir is full at all times.

I purchased this countertop ice maker, after doing a looking at numerous options. I was not happy with the large solid cubes, that my refrigerator made. I love the small size and brittleness of the cubes, that this unit produces! This makes ice fast enough for my needs. I could see someone needing more ice for a group setting or a larger family. I plan ahead and I bag up a few gallon bags of ice and place them in a cake pan, to freeze more completely, before breaking them up and placing the small cubes into my refrigerator's built-in ice dispenser.

This unit is everything it is supposed to be and more! We love pellet ice, and some of our favorite beverages are and can be replicated with this awesome unit. You wanna call it Sonic ice, soda ice, or just pellet ice, your beverages will certainly have more flair and taste with the ice from this machine. We have received many compliments from family and guests in our home - the downside is it is a bit pricey, but small appliances that are well-made and have a "cool" factor fall into this price range. Has anyone priced a good mixer or toaster oven these days? We highly recommend this machine!
