This icemaker looks sharp and delivers sonic-type (pellet or nugget) ice as advertised. It makes ice quickly and is reasonable quiet while doing so. While the ice quality is better than most refrigerator/freezers' produce, it is not up to the standards set by Sonic of Scotsman. Having said that, it is a fraction of the price of the Scotsman and fits nicely on the counter.

The quality is poor. I've had it no more than 1 month and the defrost constantly comes on after only 2 drops of ice. I've descaled it and even bought the descale solution and to no avail. Terrible machine. It was a gift so I don't have the receipt for an exchange not knowing where they bought it.

I love this ice machine! I've been wanting this machine for a while and finally pulled the trigger and purchased it. Although it took longer than I anticipated to figure out how to set it up when it was all said and done it was worth the time. Buy the machine….you won't regret it!

I am writing this because. I've already had the earlier model and it wasn't as well designed as this 2,0. The ice bin is better and side by side it makes ice faster and is much less noisy as compared to the earlier model. The knowing that the unit is defrosting is an added feature that I think I will like.

My wife loves nugget ice. Her cousin has one of these machines and she really liked it. So I surprised her with it for Christmas. When it's making ice, it's not loud but it is a hum in the background. I like how it recycles the water from the ice that melts. Definitely add the water tank on the side... it makes it a lot easier to fill and allows you to make ice for a few days. A little bit of a pain to clean, but I set aside about an hour every couple weeks and it's not bad.

Our Samsung refrigerator ice make has always been a pain since we bought it. Clogs up weekly . Complaining to my husband constantly, he bought me this for Christmas! I LOVE IT! the best ice for us ice lovers! Small and soft, perfect. we only use the fridge for ice water now.

Product looks nice, but the ice it makes is not very cold. This may sound funny, but the ice is soft and not hard. It melts really easy in your drinks. I plan on bagging some up, and freezing it, so it can get harder. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a icemaker. It's still fairly new, and I love ice, so I will give it a few more months to see if I can get used to the ice.

I love nugget ice, and this ice maker is exactly what I was looking for. The ice tastes great and has the perfect crunchiness without being too hard - just like nugget slice should be. The set up is easy, and I will definitely sanitize weekly to keep it running smoothly and cleanly.

This ice machine produces small soft ice nuggets that are great for making snow cones, cooling drinks and hot liquids, and for just chewing. Hooked to wi-fi , one can see what the machine is doing at that moment or you can run diagnostics if needed. This machine makes virtually no noise while on and producing ice. It is an attractive appliance on my kitchen counter.
