We love the ice machine. It creates the best little nuggets and we can't get enough! We are very happy with the machine and so glad we got it. My two complaints would be, as many others have commented, too - it requires regular cleaning/descaling (almost weekly) and defrosts without warning, which usually depletes the entire bin of ice. Those are not deal breakers, just sharing feedback.

Makes the small, chewable ice as intended. Can be noisy when first filling up or defrosting but noise reduces as more ice is produced. Makes ice within 20 minutes as stated but takes approximately 30 for a full cup. Takes up a decent amount of counter space but not much more than a typical countertop toaster oven. The wifi capability makes scheduling easy. If you like the crunchy, “Sonic” ice, this machine does the job.

I really like the ice that it makes, not happy with the loud vibration sound though. And worst of all, we have had it less than two months and it leaked water from the tank not the hoses for some reason and cracked up my furniture it was on in the the dining room.

We love our new ice maker the machine starts making ice within minutes of starting the process! Our refrigerator quit making ice but we won't ever buy one that makes ice since we have this ice maker! Absolutely the best countertop application we have ever purchased.

I love how with this machine you are able to turn on the machine right before you head home from work and have a full container of ice ready for you. I also love side water tank that make the machine last so much longer between refills. 10/10 best nugget ice machine ever!

This unit was quite in operation, works as promised, the manual needs updating to explain how to clean interior storage tank that feeds water into freezing auger. I have run this unit for 2 years constantly. You tube cleaning videos were very helpful.

I purchased the GE Profile Nugget Ice Maker about a month ago & all I can say is we all love the chewable crunchy ice….. it makes all your drinks extra special …. also it came in very handle during the time some family members were experiencing sickness … they weren't able to eat food but the ice was something they really enjoyed & helped to relieve some of their symptoms …. Thanks for making such a fine product accessible to everyday families!

Amazing machine! Beautiful appearance. Matches all my other GE profile appliances. Ice is perfect for drinks and crunching! I used to buy Sonic ice but now i have it at home. Always fresh! My entire family enjoys the ice too. You will not be disappointed and yes. It's worth the money.

The product does exactly what it was promised to do. Makes delicious chewable and taste restaurant style ice - does so quietly and in quantities that are super useful for our family. In addition the setup and installation was super easy and the instructions simple and intuitive to follow.

The machine is easy to use! I love the nugget ice and it makes ice pretty fast! My favorite feature is the app! I love being able to set a schedule so I have ice when I come home from work! I highly recommend if you are wanting a great quality nugget ice maker!
