This is my second profile ice maker! I love between 2 states and needed one in each house! There’s nothing better than having your own nugget ice maker in your own kitchen! Great for drinks or just snacking on! My first one was a gift from my husband, and he said it was the best gift ever because I have literally used it every day!

I bought this machine about 4months ago and have been obsessed since. I love ice especially the “good ice” this ice machine has been wonderful. I live the ice alone or in my iced coffee. I also love that I am able to do basic controls from my phone so even at work I am able to turn the machine on and off! I recommend this to all my friends and family!

I love the ice it makes, and it takes about 2 hours or so to make a good amount of ice. The ice maker is for a family of 2, plenty of ice and never ran out of ice between 2 people, even when we use large 40oz containers. There are a few flaws, cleaning is not that easy. I wish the cleaning is easier or have less things to clean. The second is, you can't connect a water line to this. For something that I need to refill twice a week, I'm willing to split off the fridge line to this ice maker. Especially, I don't use the fridge to make ice any more. The noise is a bit annoying if you're in the same room or the next. But it's fine. Last gripe about this, water drips once you open door to get ice out. The tray it comes with does catches it. With the flaws, it's still a very good ice maker. One thing you should consider is to use filtered water and not use tap water. Tap water (depending where you live), it could make you clean this more often. Leaving hard water in the lines are very hard to clean. I don't use the GE filter because it didn't seem like it would be as good as my own water filter. The price is a bit high for a "ice maker" but if you like the nugget ice, or like chomping on ice and you got the money for it. This one is legit.

Upon set up , and after cleaning per instructions, the machine went through the “making ice” mode and then to defrost without making any ice at all. Customer service is of little help and definitely not customer friendly. I had expected so much more. instructions state ice to be made with in 25-30 minutes. 6 hours and counting zero ice. But the defrost cycle works well .

I love the machine but it does not produce enough ice to completely fill a 20 oz glass in 20 minutes. The only other issue I have is the amount of excess water that is collected in the bin. After about the 1st 10 minutes, I've learned to pull out the bin and drain the water so there is not as much once the machine is done. If there is a way to make this produce ice faster, please let me know.

If it didn’t run ALL THE TIME and require so much constant care it would be 5/5. We love the ice this machine makes, it seems to be a well built product and has some very nice improvements over the 1st gen machine. But… holy smokes is it loud and the thing runs ALL THE TIME. Open the bin and get a scoop of ice - it runs, for a long long time. Start it up it runs forever…until it’s full hours later. It has to be the most inefficient appliance we own. We use distilled water, purchased the filter and it still wants us to descale it all the time. If you don’t REALLY REALLY… REEEALLY want this ice, this is one that we maybe would have reconsidered before buying.

I purchased this product a few months ago and so far we love it. It does make a bit of noise while producing ice but you quickly get used to it. You can program it to produce ice at night but I have not bothered with this yet. It requires regular cleaning (once per week) if you want clean, good tasting ice. The only issue I have encountered is the machine has incorrectly registered as "add water" a few times when the sidetank is full. I checked my hoses and ensured they were not pinched or blocked.

I love it! In the past three months we have gone through four different ice makers and they all would make ice for a day or so then they would start screaming so loud you can hear it outside. This one is quiet and does a great job, I am very satisfied with it.

Holy cow! No more bothering my husband to go to everyone's favorite drink stop with the good ice! You know the one. You also know that good chicken place with the even better ice. Yeah, this tops that even. I was worried that it wouldn't be as soft because the ice in my freezer is really hard. No, ma'am, Pam! This ice is so soft. And QUIET! It has a small noise, but hello! It's making the best ice in the world! The demand keeps up with my ice addiction plus that of my husband and two sons. It fills quickly and just keeps going. On the days that my husband goes into the office, I take pictures of how wonderful my drinks are and how I have a cup of just ice at my desk to chomp on. He says that it's a cruel punishment. I say I'm just bragging! Quit thinking about it. Buy it. Why haven't you hit the purchase button yet?

I thought I wouldn't need an ice maker, but here we are. I've had this machine for the past few weeks now and it has been great for me and cooling down here in the Southern heat! I was getting tired having to fill ice trays and storage buckets with water and ice over and over again so I decided to splurge on this. This machine makes ice so quickly and that lasts so long! It's really made my beverages outside of just water a lot more enjoyable. It's aided by an app if you decide to use it which allows you to schedule ice making which is neat. I do wish the lighting inside was a bit better to see if the machine is dirty or if the bulb was changed to something that could kill bacteria.
