Makes more than enough ice for our family of five. Nugget ice is awesome! The side tank feature is very nice. The bin does leak when tilted open, so we have to keep a towel in front of the ice maker. The wifi and app aren't very useful because it does not stay connected. We haven't been using it for very long, so I can't comment on the longevity of the product.

We love our Opal Nugget Ice maker. If you like Sonic ice this is a good ice maker to have. We've had table top ice makers before and decided to splurge a little bit on this one. It's a beautiful unit. We love the light and it's quiet. We never run out of ice. I highly recommend this ice maker.

I have used these ice makers for awhile. I started off with the first nugget ice machine that came out. I love nugget ice and I thought that by buying this machine it would save me money. Well...I always get the warranty and I am glad I do because my machine usually starts to act like a little butt and that's when I have to call and use my warranty. By then it is almost to the end of my warranty so GE or who ever the warranty is through always tells me that they no longer make that ice machine so I have to get the next upgraded version or the next generationis what GE says. Which would be nice in most cases except for this last time. I really liked my ice maker and the look, color and size of the machine. But of course they don't make that one and I was upset because I really did like that one. But if I wanted my ice I had no choice but to upgrade to the next generation. So I did. Now I am really missing my machine. Don't get me wrong this one is nice to, but I really liked my last one. To end this story, I love my ice and I love having a nugget ice machine so you can take it and learn to love it or figure it out to get your own ice!!

I absolutely love this product. Actually, truly give this icemaker five stars. I watched several YouTube videos and reviews about this product somewhere good and somewhere bad. But I wanted to take the opportunity to try it for myself. I'm glad I did. This was my best purchase of 2023. I love it.

My wife and child loves this ice machine, they use two bins a day. I was hesitant to buy at first after reading the reviews because some said it was loud and others never worked. My 13 year old unboxed it followed the easy instructions and by the time I got home from work it was full of ice, it does make sounds but so does my refrigerator. Best purchase in years.

My freezer ice maker went out, so I finally had the excuse to buy this ice maker. Though it is a bit expensive, I had it set up, cleaned, and producing ice in less than an hour. If you keep it on, it keeps ice pretty well, and if you turn it off, you will have about a glass full of ice in 20 minutes. It isn't loud, and sits nicely on my counter. If you chew ice - this is a must have for your kitchen.

When it works properly, it's wonderful. But it hardly ever works properly. We had to already trade in our first icemaker because it had so many issues. Now the second one has issues as well. Sometimes it just gets clogged and doesn't fill with water. Sometimes it sits idle for no reason and doesn't produce ice. We have to take it apart and back together so many times in order for it to work. Again, if it would work, smoothly start to finish all the time the ice is wonderful.

I have been wanting this icemaker for a while and I finally got it for Mother's Day this year. I am a huge ice chewer and love sonic ice and this is exactly like it. It made ice for the first time in like 20 minutes if you were on the fence about purchasing this I highly recommend that you just do it, you won't regret it

We've had the nugget ice machine for two months now and are beyond thrilled with its capability! We make ice weekly, and the machine is fast, consistent, and extremely easy to use and maintain! We can't say enough about the quality, and the ice is delicious!

I absolutely love this ice maker. It produces a great amount and shuts down when full. My ONLY knock on it is that is a bit loud. This is obviously worth it to have the perfect ice always available. Our fridge ice maker has gotten virtually zero use since we started using this 3 weeks ago. The extra tank is great so that less refills are needed. Definitely will purchase again if it ever dies.
