Absolutely love it!! People often speak about the noise. After about two days, I was adjusted and don't pay any attention to it. It's no different than an ice maker in a refrigerator. The reservoir and container hold quite a bit of water so you are not constantly refilling. The ice is wonderful. I wish I had purchased years ago.

It is AMAZING! Cleaning it is somewhat of a pain since its very heavy though. My husband has to move it from the counter to the sink. Cleaning needs to happen very frequently since it develops a pink slime within about a week. We have soft water. I recommend it, but just be prepared to fill the water tank daily if you use a lot of ice and weekly cleaning of the entire unit,

Perfect ice without the restaurant visit. Nuggets taste just like the famous restaurants. Suggest using distilled water, keep it on all the time. Ice ready fast and keeps making it as long as water is in the container. Easy to use and app is easy. Well designed, quality look and fits under a kitchen counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using our Opal 2.0 for about a week now and so far so good. I was always hesitant to purchase due to past reviews of the machine being loud. You can definitely tell that it's running but not overly noisy. Just a small background hum.

I did a ton of research and finally decided this was the one for me. It's quite compared to others. Makes ice quickly. And has built in replacable filter. Still a little hugh priced, but you get what you pay for

two concerns: makes weird noises (my last one did not) doesn't keep the ice as solid as my last one overall though I love this ice machine, I did however like the first version better

This machine makes good quality ice and quickly however we have had it for a week and it starts making this terrible noise. I did research and saw that most people have this use and GE has done nothing about it. Even the replacement machines that GE sends still make the same noise. This is absolutely ridiculous for such an expensive Ice machine to make such a terrible noise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this unit because it stated the assembly product dimensions are (LxWxH) 24.75 x 20.25 x 14.74. The G.E Profile they sent was (LxWxH) 17.5 x 13.43 x 16.5. When I contacted GE they stated that they do not make a unit that is 14.75 inches tall. I am completely unhappy that this unit states the wrong size in height.

Purchase this machine used it for a couple weeks then started saying add water has plenty of water. Will not make ice just constant trouble other family members and friends say same things

Doesn't work very well. I only used distilled water. It's been turning off randomly. Already had issues with the water filter clogging the flow of the machine giving me an “add water” error when everything is full.
