This bariatric transport wheelchair is good representation of that. It is built very sturdy with large rear wheels which makes it easy to push. Also it has removable armrests for easy transfers. It is a good quality product and I highly recommend this.

Made from reinforced carbon steel, it can accommodate large individuals up to 500 lbs. The product came pre-assembled so no need to install except for the optional leg rest. The large 12” rear wheels glide smoothly over outdoor rough surfaces with minimal rolling resistance. The armrest is removable, allowing the caregiver to do side transfer easily. Few drawbacks from this product: Due to a heavy-duty build, this product is quite heavy. There is no handbrake provided; the caregiver must brake manually when going through steep ramps or slope driveways. Lacking of built-in seat cushion reduces comfort. Lastly, the width of the chair may not accommodate a standard doorway interior opening. One should check whether their doorway can fit this wheelchair to pass. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very well built wheelchair! The seat is firm yet soft enough to be very comfortable. The backrest is at a perfect angle so you are not leaning forward or backward. The brakes are easy to engage and release. My grandfather is overweight and the wheelchair easily accommodates him. Yet the chair itself is easy to handle. The weight makes for a sturdy chair, yet lightweight enough to easily fold and handle.

This is a transport only wheel chair to help move from point A to B with a person to push you. This is not one for a single person to wheel themselves around. Has a 500lb weight limit and it seems super sturdy. The width allowed me to pass thru doors fine. The seat is comfortable and has a very durable heavy duty seat. It is comfortable to sit in.

It is a transport wheelchair so the back wheels are small and inaccessible for the person seated to wheel themselves around. The foot pedals are removable. Pretty blue color. Has a pocket in the back to hold the instruction manual and whatever else you might need.

It is for transportation purposes only, it can't be operated by the patient which was a little disappointing. It is wide enough to fit a larger person without being too big not to go through doors. It wasn't very easy to fold and unfold for storage and transporting, but I think that with the usage it will get easier. The colors are practical and it looks like it's very easy to clean the fabric and the wheels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Putting together the wheelchair was effortless but it may require two people since it is quite heavy to take out of the box. The wheelchair is wide and can carry a generous amount of weight. It functions well and the wheels roll smoothly along flat or uneven flooring, like the flagstone I have in my home. It is fairly comfortable but with prolonged use, could use a cushion or two. I wish it could maneuver corners better as well. I think the design of the wheel lock could be improved. It's hard to initially engage the lock and I feel that over time, it could ruin the tire.
