This toaster looks really nice and performs well. There is a cancel button as well as buttons for bagels and frozen items. There is also a dial for setting the lightness/darkness of the toasting. The toaster is simple and it works well. It is worth the money.

wesome toaster! My rental unit is equipped with GE appliances --- superior quality --- which inclined me to purchase this toaster. It's size saves tremendous space on the countertop and is aesthetically pleasing with the stainless steel finish. I normally use the toast setting at 3/4 and comes out great! A must have for breakfast preparation!

We wanted a no-frills toaster and this perfectly fit the bill. Easy to use, clean, and store (we have a small apartment with limited counter space). Just read the directions / be sure to cure the coils by heating on the highest setting before use. There will be a slightly unpleasant smell. Works great.

Our former toaster never really worked very well, so out of frustration I began completing my research on toasters so as to find one that might actually work. Since I was already very happy with my GE Microwave, I checked on GE Toasters. From day one I've been extremely happy with everything about my new toaster, from its sleek look to the wide slots, and the very easy to use controls. This is one great toaster!

So far so good, we have used several times & have no complaints. We like the fact that the light comes on to denote "frozen" our other toaster did not so you didn't know if it was working😲 crunb tray works well too, captures the crumbs so you are not cleaning counter top constantly.

We really like the toaster especially how evenly it toasts along with the bagel and frozen options. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it smelled like plastic the first few times we used it. That smell had completely gone away after the 4th use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was ready for a upgrade and this toaster is great. Many have the bagel button but they don’t really work. I’ve been happy to get perfectly toasted bagels. Yum. Also it works on my white bread and mulit grain. I like that it wide enough for big Texas toast. Only downside is the side do warm up so I have to keep the kids away from the counter. Now a plus is this has a good side extension cord so I can move it around the counter. My last one as so many I was hugging the plug. I also have all stainless steel appliances so like that it matches that look.

The toaster has worked fine, though I've only had it for less than a week. I especially like the frozen button, since I freeze my bread to make it last longer. When I first tried it I was shocked at the awful smell emanating from the interior of the toaster. I consulted the manual, which said the toaster had to "cure the new elements" and that "this may produce a slight odor as the element cures." In my case I had to open windows and run the toaster several times (without toast), to eliminate the strong and toxic smell! Since then I've had no problems.

Compared to other toasters I ordered, this one felt more solid and well built. Everything was brand new with no blemishes. It was properly packed for shipping. The lever that lowers the food down works perfectly and my food heats up decently – I use it mostly to heat frozen waffles so the times where it came out concave taught me that I needed to increase the heat setting just a bit more. I also press the ‘frozen’ button. The food gently pops up when done and doesn’t fly out of the toaster like some other brands. I thought I would be missing out but having a digital toaster, but this does everything I need it to do.
