Well-built and lovely finish. Simple interface for those who like me who value functionality over complexity. Toasts well and has adequate space for bagels --- a must around here. Easy to clean crumb tray and very stable footing. Great value for the money.

I think we’re becoming a GE household! First, was our new GE refrigerator (lovin’ it), next came our GE over the range microwave (the best), and now our new GE toaster! It has all the features I was looking for - modern, sleek design, super large slots, quick toasting, easy light up control buttons, and wrap up cording! Couldn’t be happier and thanks again GE for having such fine products!

Opened the box and knew that I had made the right choice. Immediately the quality was obvious packaging was top knock took it out very well made. Construction and materials were way above the others I had looked at , actually bought one of the competitors and returned it the cord was way too short. G E product came with a nice long cord length. Athens finish was by far of a superior quality. Turned it on three times to let the manufacturing oils burn of it works perfectly and I was amazed at the quality for not much more than the other competitors. Always had good luck with G E products in the past so when I was able to find one at such an fair price. I expected superior quality and design and I was not disappointed rarely are very satisfied with inexpensive products but this one works great.

We have used the toaster for about 2weeks and my husband and I love. It is a little pricey compared to what we have spent in the past but it toasts evenly and looks great in my kitchen. A huge improvement over past toasters. You get what you pay for.

We wanted a no-frills toaster and this perfectly fit the bill. Easy to use, clean, and store (we have a small apartment with limited counter space). Just read the directions / be sure to cure the coils by heating on the highest setting before use. There will be a slightly unpleasant smell. Works great.

I love everything about this GE stainless steel 2-slice toaster, except I’ve yet to find a consistent shade of how brown the toast gets. I don’t want it super brown, but I do prefer some browning. There are 7 shades of browning to select from, & I’m still trying! Another issue is only 1 side browns, but the other side does not. I remember reading reviews before my purchase, & other people had this issue of only 1 side getting brown. I like the width of the slots; they are plenty wide. The length of the slots are also a plus. The toast pops up with plenty of room at the top to get it out without having to use small, plastic tongs. I like the lighted options of Cancel, Frozen, & Bagel. The control knob is sturdy b/c the setting clicks into place when you choose the shade of browning. The lever to lower the bread is also sturdy. I don’t have to press it several times for the bread to stay down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the toaster looks great! It has a steel casing that will look great in any kitchen. It does seem to attract smudges so you may want to wipe it off after every use. It has a streamlined and modern look with very intuitive controls. It's easy to operate and does what it's supposed to do quite well. The only caveat is to make sure you run a cycle or two with nothing in it so you don't have that "new, metallic" taste imbued into your toast/bagels/etc. Another solid product from a company that has been making them for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am remodeling my kitchen and wanted a better toaster and i found it with the G E 2 SLICE TOASTER. The toaster has a beautiful design and has toasted everything from bagels to toaster pastries to perfection. I love the wide slots and the controls that help things to toast evenly. This toaster is a great new addition to my kitchen!

The finish on this toaster is a brushed stainless steel and looks stylish and sleek near my brushed stainless steel kitchen sink and other items in my kitchen that are trimmed with a similar finish. It's a very recent purchase, so I've only used it a few times, but so far, it's done everything a toaster would be needed to do. All of my major appliances are the GE brand and I've been extremely satisfied with all of them, so buying a GE toaster was an easy choice. I did do my homework and browsed other brands, but nothing impressed me any more than this GE. It was the clear winner and I'm very happy with this purchase.

I like this toaster a lot. About 7 months ago I bought a cheaper brand and it lasted all of 2 months before the elements were bent and bread was getting stuck. This GE toaster is great. It toasts bread, bagels, English muffins all perfectly. It’s sturdy and the cord is a good length. Love it!
