Our former toaster never really worked very well, so out of frustration I began completing my research on toasters so as to find one that might actually work. Since I was already very happy with my GE Microwave, I checked on GE Toasters. From day one I've been extremely happy with everything about my new toaster, from its sleek look to the wide slots, and the very easy to use controls. This is one great toaster!

This is an adequate toaster but not the quality that I expected, given price and rating, nor on par with of our previous Cuisinart model. The calibration seems off as one must turn the darkness dial nearly to darkest setting to get bread well toasted. Also one side toasts more evenly than the other. Once you accommodate these peculiarities, it does fine.

This is a great little toaster! It matches my stainless steel GE fridge flawlessly! I live in an older home I don't have a lot of plugs or counter space so I put this next to the coffee maker I had it for about 6 months before I used it to be honest I don't cook a whole lot. Over the weekend I made sausage and eggs a couple times and had toast this thing works flawlessly it has a couple different settings for bagels and larger thicker breads and so far so good I had imagined this thing will work for many many years to come! I also love the easy accessibility of the crumb tray that slides out!

I love everything about this GE stainless steel 2-slice toaster, except I’ve yet to find a consistent shade of how brown the toast gets. I don’t want it super brown, but I do prefer some browning. There are 7 shades of browning to select from, & I’m still trying! Another issue is only 1 side browns, but the other side does not. I remember reading reviews before my purchase, & other people had this issue of only 1 side getting brown. I like the width of the slots; they are plenty wide. The length of the slots are also a plus. The toast pops up with plenty of room at the top to get it out without having to use small, plastic tongs. I like the lighted options of Cancel, Frozen, & Bagel. The control knob is sturdy b/c the setting clicks into place when you choose the shade of browning. The lever to lower the bread is also sturdy. I don’t have to press it several times for the bread to stay down.

Even better than I had hoped--especially given its very reasonable cost. Compact (but with ample room for toasting everything from hand-sliced bread to bagels), very attractive appearance with just enough toasting options to be practical; and it works perfectly. Love that it is easy to maintain, too: the stainless resists finger marks and easily wipes clean, if needed. Great purchase!

I have always trusted GE products, their quality and workmanship. GE has been around since the 1890's and founded by Thomas Edison and JP Morgan. Their legacy and innovation still holds true to manufacturing quality products that last! I love this new toaster and can honestly say I am not surprised at how well it's designed and made. I have tried all the different shade settings and although I prefer 5 1/2 for toast, all the settings are consistent to the degree in which they are set. I would strongly recommend this product for quality at a reasonable price point. As far as styling, this product would do any decor justice.

Nice looking, easy to operate. The top slot is 5.5 inches which is longer than most and why I ordered it but it would be nice if it was a least a 1/2 inch longer to accommodate some of the larger breads. You can't seem to find a toaster with larger top slot unless you get a toaster that's much longer which takes up too much real estate on my counter.

We needed a basic toaster, and this fills the bill. Works exactly as it should. The crumb tray gets a workout, because we have "everything" bagel fans in house. Very clean looking, almost like the old chrome-plated toasters, except this one fits better on a shelf.

I purchased 5 toasters in 30 days and returned 4. This is my 5th and finally! The toaster works wonderfully. It toasts evenly and on both sides at the same time! The others would only heat on one side at a time. This one looks great, it feels sturdy and well made. The handle is tight and smooth and it toasts both sides of the bread evenly! I’m so happy. Thank you for another great product GE! I should have went with GE the first and saved myself a lot of frustration.

We really like the toaster especially how evenly it toasts along with the bagel and frozen options. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it smelled like plastic the first few times we used it. That smell had completely gone away after the 4th use.
