These are the most disgusting protein bars I have ever had in my life. Took the Blueberry, Sea Salt & Chocolate, and Peanut Butter & Berries bars on a backpacking trip and wish I had left them behind. It's like gelatin or a fruit roll-up were melted with the ingredients listed on the front and shaped into the most chewy, disgusting, awful piece of food ever created. Have never felt so compelled to write a bad review about something in my life. Do yourself a favor and buy any other protein bar on the market! Can I get a refund for the $$ I wasted on these??

I tried the peanut butter nut butter and it was delicious. I figured these would be equally as good, so I got a box. I was disappointed when tasted exactly how they look. And they look like poop with corn in it, formed into a rectangle. I forced myself to eat them all because they're expensive, but it was not an enjoyable experience.

I am a Registered Dietitian and I had previously given up on recommending protein bars for my patients, clients, and family. The reason for this was because they all misled people in thinking they are doing something “healthy” when in fact they are eating a candy bar. Thank you RXBAR for creating something I feel comfortable in recommending as a protein bar. Did I mention it tastes great?!

I have been vegetarian for the past 6 months and I am always concerned about not getting enough protein. These bars have solved my problems!! I always have one every morning and I am satiated until lunchtime. They are my go-to post-workout snack and taste like a candy bar. Recommend to anyone looking for natural, delicious, and healthy options!

I have to say I'm a little disappointed with this batch of bars. I ordered 4 different kinds and they all seem a little drier than previous orders. And I don't care for the new packaging. With the old pkg, I could eat half a bar and zip it closed to eat later in the day. Not possible with the new package. The lower price is nice but I don't mind paying for quality products. I was happier with my first order.

I am an amateur bodybuilder and have been eating protein bars for 40+ years. Most of them are just okay but have a variety of downsides such as taste, sweetness, grittiness, etc. I found these in a weekly trip to the grocery store and seeing the ingredients just had to try them. Man, they did not disappoint! They are a bit pricey but you are paying for real food, not a pressed conglomeration of chemicals you'd never find in anyone's cabinet. No Franenfood here. My only problem is keeping myself from eating a whole box of five in one sitting. These things are incredible in every way food should be. Thanks and keep them coming!

Typical Rx bar texture. The addition of bits of peanuts and chocolate are a nice touch. Tasty and filling. great as a light lunch, trail snack. Just make sure you have have water. It can be a bit dense. I love the ingredient label. Simple easy to pronounce ingredients

Knowing that the bars are very nutritious I was compelled to eat the entire bar but all I could taste was the date flavoring even though it was supposed to chocolate flavored. I found the texture to be very soft and chewy but was hard to get down without a glass of water. I felt that the bar left me full but did not have a satisfying sweetness or mouth feeling I was expecting.

Of all the Rx bars I have tried so far, this flavor is my favorite. For whatever reason, the texture is a lot lighter and easier to chew than the other flavors. While I like the taste of many of the other flavors, I find the others to be quite dense and labor intensive to chew. For some reason, this has not been the case for the peanut butter chocolate flavor, so for that reason, and the fact that it tastes good, this is my favorite flavor.

I love these bars but am so upset that they are using the GLUTEN FREE designation on their bars . I don’t know how it’s legal to put GLUTEN FREE in large print then process the bars in and on wheat machines. I’m terribly sick and it took me some time to figure out why. CELIAC DISEASE is a serious condition that found me using a wheelchair at one point before diagnosis so I’m very careful about what comes into my kitchen. I think it’s criminal to use the lucrative gluten free market To push your product when you aren’t truly gluten free. I can now expect the next month to be spent recovering. I’m one of those cases that has systemic problems After being glutened and it’s worse the longer the exposure occurs. Companies should be more responsible with labeling. If there’s no law on this there should be. People like me can end up with cancer from repeated exposure. If you want to claim gluten free, put the extra effort into being GLUTEN FREE , not mostly free. My health is very different than a game of hand Grenades Or horseshoes , if it weren’t for the lie, I’d eat these 3 meals a day. Too bad doing so left me couchbound and miserable.
