I was told the Italian Cream Cake was discontinued and replaced with Dubai Chocolate Mousse Cake. Big mistake. The chocolate cake itself is ordinary. The mousse is more like chocolate flavored whipped topping. The Kitaifi is gritty and adds nothing to the flavor. The mousse collapsed after removing the collar, and it was a mess to serve, and it was visually a mess. I don't recommend.

Do not buy this unless you want chocolate slop. Cake fell apart when first piece was cut. The chocolate mousse was like water. Waste of $25

Oh my gosh, this dessert was so delicious!! We loved it! The cake was moist and had a rich chocolate flavor, and the mouse layer was insanely rich and luscious, especially with the Dubai topping and fudge swirls on top. Took some skill to cut it cleanly, but it can be done! I would most definitely buy this again for a special occasion!!

We purchased this cake to take to my parents house for their anniversary. It looks great once placed it on the table but as soon as we remove the plastic that holds the cake together the chocolate mousse started seeping on the sides. At time of slicing the cake it started falling apart and it was very messy and not presentable. Definitely not something I would buy for a gathering as it would embarrass me to serve something that is not well formed and put together. If you read that far into the review you're probably wondering how long has this been out prior to serving, actually it was in the fridge up until the time we were ready to eat it so it was cold. I can't help but wonder if something about the consistency of the chocolate mousse is not right and perhaps the recipe needs to be reevaluated. The flavor is the divine, the cake is rich. It looks wonderful for a gathering but when it's being served it's very very messy and that is not acceptable

I was given a free sample for my honest review. Taste wise, it's delicious! All 3 layers compliment each other well and the presentation of it just makes you want to buy it, BUT, as soon as you cut into it, it falls apart and you definitely don't get a slice, but more of a scoop. There is almost too much mousse, so that could be why it falls apart. I will say though, we fed 8 people with it and we still had a ton leftover!

My friends and family enjoyed this cake. It isn’t as sweet as most Dubai chocolate items I’ve had which was appreciated by all. It had a good texture and we kept it in the fridge until we were ready to serve. It sliced fine and held together for serving and eating. But we did notice that by the end it was coming apart. Best to keep this in the fridge before and after serving.

Cake taste great but completely fell apart / mousse seemed like it was melting immediately after taking it out of fridge- impossible to cut as it just fell apart. Next day remainder is cake looked like a pile of slop- need to figure out way to keep mouse more firm

This Member's Mark Dubai Choc Mouse cake lived up to what I expect from a Dubai choc. product. The only negative is that the mousse is not firm enough to hold the cake together. After tasting it, I decided to freeze it for a few hours. It then sliced very nice and held together. Super dessert for any occasion.
