Perfect for medium size home

The generator was shipped on a very sturdy custom pallet, and arrived in good shape. It started easily using the included NG hose. After transferring to generator power, I checked various circuits in the home, including the garage door opener, power tools in the shop, etc., everything worked OK. I'm glad I bought this generator.

very reliable

I bought this after a prolonged power outage (5 days) due to a hurricane. I have run the unit for a few winutes and the start-p and operation is very reliable. I have not yet had to run this for a real life power outage so i do not know the long term performance

WESTINGHOUSE

I baught this generator due to the fact ours stopped working last winter in the middle of a snow storm. Let me tell you it was no fun when it was -30 out no heat, no water, and no stove. That will not happen this year. Although we uave not used it yet, the generator is very sturdy, and was easy to get ready for use. I love that we have to option to use gas or propane. Heres to a warm power outage if it happens again.

Excellent features that rival much larger models

I bought this for an emergency I hope never occurs. I anticipated that it might be too heavy for just one man to set up, but I was wrong. Lifting it off the ground onto a few 2x4's allowed installation of the 2 wheels, and from then on it was a breeze. It fired up immediately and I was impressed by the power output which will be adequate to power the refrigerator, lights, and a small window a/c in the hot difficult days without electricity that follow a major storm.

Westinghouse Generator WGen9500TFc

I purchased a Westinghouse WGen9500TFc tri fuel generator earlier this month. The quality and construction of this generator is top of the line. Very heavy-duty construction and easy to assemble and provide routine maintenance on. My house is 100% and when I ran the generator it started right up carried 75% of my entire house without a problem. This is the second Westinghouse product I have purchased as I also have a WPX 3200 pressure washer. I would purchase Westinghouse products again in the future and highly recommend this generator and any other Westinghouse product to anyone, based upon my experience with this generator and my Westinghouse pressure washer.

GReat performance

I bought this a month back and very happy did that. Very easy to assemble and understand. Being tri-fuel it gives more option to power home. Efficient and pretty east to operate as well. Noise lever is quite impressive in compare to others, who are very loud. Definitely tell to my family and friends more about it.

Solid Generator

Got this generator a couple of weeks ago for Father's Day, just in time for Beryl. Instructions on how to set it up and start it were on point and easy. It's a beast to carry, but the stirdy wheels help a lot. It's quite noisy, but nothing more than I would expect from this size of generator. I'm running it with gasoline right now, not sure how it will do with natural gas or propane yet.

Westinghouse WGen9500TFc Generator Review

The Westinghouse WGen9500TFc Generator is a powerful and versatile machine that’s built to handle a variety of power needs, whether for home backup during power outages, camping trips, or even job sites. This model stands out for its impressive performance, dual fuel capability, and user-friendly features. Key Features and Performance The WGen9500TFc offers a peak output of 12,500 watts and a running output of 9,500 watts, providing plenty of power to run essentials like refrigerators, air conditioners, and more during a blackout. The dual-fuel capability is a game changer, allowing you to switch between gasoline and propane for convenience and flexibility. Switching fuels is simple, and it’s nice to have the option, especially if one fuel source is easier to obtain than the other during an emergency. Ease of Use Westinghouse has equipped this generator with an electric push-button start and remote start, which make it incredibly easy to get up and running. The digital data center is another plus, providing real-time information on voltage, frequency, and lifetime hours, so you know exactly what’s going on at all times. I also appreciate the variety of outlets, including 120V and 240V options, and a 12V DC port, which makes it highly adaptable for different setups. Fuel Efficiency and Runtime With a 6.6-gallon fuel tank, the WGen9500TFc has an impressive runtime of up to 12 hours at 50% load on gasoline, making it fuel-efficient for its power output. If you’re using propane, the runtime will vary, but it's still highly economical. This generator also has a fuel gauge, which is a nice touch for easily monitoring fuel levels. Noise Level While the generator is not silent, the noise level is fairly standard for a unit of this power. It’s not overly disruptive if placed at a reasonable distance, and it’s definitely manageable for outdoor use. If noise is a major concern, placing it further from living spaces can help reduce the impact. Durability and Build Quality Westinghouse is known for its reliable and durable products, and the WGen9500TFc is no exception. The build quality is excellent, with a sturdy steel frame and heavy-duty wheels for easy transport. It feels rugged enough to handle rough environments and should last for years with proper maintenance. Pros and Cons Pros: High power output, suitable for most home and job site needs Dual fuel capability for flexibility Easy electric and remote start options Good fuel efficiency and long runtime Well-built and durable with wheels for portability Cons: Can be somewhat noisy Large and heavy, which may be difficult for some to move Final Verdict: Overall, the Westinghouse WGen9500TFc is an excellent choice if you need a powerful, reliable generator with the flexibility of dual fuel. Its high output, ease of use, and rugged build make it a solid investment for anyone looking to be prepared for power outages or needing power in remote locations. While it’s on the larger side and a bit noisy, the pros far outweigh these minor drawbacks.

Great features!

I bought this model because of it being a tri-fuel which I was looking for. I reviewed many other brands but kept coming back to this one. After receiving it I am glad I did. I am still exploring all that it can do and I am very pleased with the generator. I has all that I was looking for and I like the quick start feature. It comes well packaged with the hoses. Overall I am very pleased with the generator.

Easy Setup and Great Value

Purchased the generator after hurricane Helene so I have not used it much so far. The generator was easy to assemble and start. I have tested with propane so I wouldn't have to drain the gas afterwards. I like the option of tri fuel because I have the option of all of these and it would depend on the situation. I plan to install a manual switch so I don't need to run a bunch of extension cords. This generator should have enough power to run all the essentials and more.
