Great for sporting events

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. My 65” mounted to a wall swivel. Just in time to enjoy every minute of every World Cup Soccer Match. As a sports junkie, I specifically selected this model for the enhanced sports optics.

Other features are okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has done the dumbest thing ever! They allow me to use my hearing aids but in doing so theycut off the sound for the rest of the room! I should be able to use the TV speakers at the same time I activate the hearing aids! How stupid!

Hi Rich, Thank you for reaching out to us. Please note that your TV features Multi-output Audio, enabling simultaneous sound through both the TV speakers and Bluetooth headphones. You can also adjust each audio output independently - for instance, keeping the TV volume lower while boosting volume on your headphones. To enable: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Multi-output Audio We hope this tip helps. If you need additional help, feel free to reach Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). You can also LiveChat with an agent or explore more resources under the Support link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor

Great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this TV. It is a replacement for another brand that stopped working. The Samsung is very responsive, color and contrast, brightness is all top notch. I even slurred and purchased the matching 5.1 sound bar. I love this system.

Initial results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought my tv and believe I need to return it under the warranty. The screen blacks out at random times, very annoying, the sound continues to work, but the screen goes black for - one second.

Hi Mark, Thanks for sharing your experience with your screen displaying a black screen and “No Signal” message. This typically indicates a connection or source issue. Let’s walk through a few steps to help get things working again. 1. Check Source & Connections • Confirm the source: Use the remote to make sure the TV is set to the correct input. Go to: Home > Left directional key > Connected Devices > Sources • Verify connections: Ensure all external devices (like a cable box or Blu-ray player) are powered on and securely connected via HDMI. Try switching to a different HDMI port or using another cable to rule out a faulty connection. For best results, use a High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet (HEAC) – this supports stable 4K video and audio signals for most external devices. • Using a soundbar or A/V receiver? If you're connected through the TV’s HDMI eARC port, be sure to use a certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cable to enable lossless audio formats like Dolby Atmos and maintain proper eARC functionality. • Power cycle the TV: Unplug it from the wall for at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in. 2. Update Your TV Software • Make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update 3. Signal & Broadcast Checks (Especially important if you're using a cable box or antenna.) • Check signal strength: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal • Run Auto Program: Home > Left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Broadcasting > Auto Program 4. Advanced Troubleshooting • HDMI Test: Home > Left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > HDMI Test • Try a different device: Connect another external device to the same port to help identify whether the issue lies with the original device or the TV. • Check the power source: Make sure the TV is plugged into a working outlet. If using a surge protector, try plugging directly into the wall. • Factory reset (if needed): As a last resort, you can reset the TV to its default settings. (Note: this will erase your personal preferences.) If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact Samsung Support for further assistance at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime. Great product,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is awesome, what an upgrade from our last Roku tv. The colors are great. The thing that is very annoying is that the Samsung live tv automatically plays if the Home Screen is sitting idle. I did the correct steps to turn auto play off but it didn't work until I finally just ended up deleting the entire app off of the tv. Like I said before, great tv besides that one feature.

Happy purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is meeting all my viewing needs. It has brightness crisp colors contrasts. It is also so responsive from a click of the remote to excecussion on the screen. Another gem is that the remote doesn't even have to be pointed to the TV to work.

OK...but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an ok TV. We're cable cutters who have for several years streamed our TV content. The picture quality is ok but there are times when the picture is slightly "fuzzy" which may be more of a streaming issue rather than the TV's problem. The reason for 3 stars is that we bought this particular TV because it was one of the few cabable of having 2 Bluetooth wireless headphones operating at the same time. However, you have "reconnect" the "paired" headphones each time the TV is turned on...but even more frustrating is the fact this TV frequently drops the headphone connection while watching a show. We use a Bose and Cowin headphone so its not a headphone problem...it a Samsung TV problem.

Hi Randyfish, We appreciate your feedback on the M70HD TV. For the most optimal performance, please ensure your TV and headphones are up to date with the latest software. To update your TV, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Please also note that the TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect if the distance between them is too great or if there are obstacles. Next, buffering during streaming is typically related to internet speed or signal strength. This can happen when your connection isn’t able to deliver data quickly enough for smooth playback. We recommend the following steps to help improve streaming performance: 1. Use a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection, if available 2. Try a wired LAN connection for more stability 3. Reposition your router to minimize obstacles between it and the TV 4. Make sure your TV is running the latest firmware (Settings > Support > Software Update) 5. Run Device Care to optimize performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care If buffering continues, you may want to contact your internet service provider to check your current speed or explore upgrade options. If we can assist further, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat with an agent as well as manuals, software, and warranty info can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website. ~ Samsung Advisor

Remote Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV works good and the picture is good. No real complaints about the TV. The remote control is another subject. It doesn't have a number keypad, but it does have a button you can push which brings up numbers and the the screen, then you have arrow left or right or up and down then push an enter button to select a number. Way too much work to put in a TV channel. The whole remote is horrible compared to the older one I had on my last Samsung. Fortunately, my old remote works with this TV. Samsung really went backward when they designed the remote.
