I had first bought this grinder about 5-6 years ago. It performed perfectly until the motor lost the ability to grind, so replacing with the same product was an obvious choice. This new unit performs differently. I have to set the grinder to 16 to produce the same amount of grounds that my old unit would produce set to 10-12. Fine, but odd.

I wanted a coffee grinder that thoroughly ground the beans and did not leave any beans whole. This grinder does it! I also wanted one that would give a fine ground for use in an espresso machine, and this does the job. I like that I can put a couple of cups of beans in and select how much to be ground each time. No worries about getting the wrong amount.

It grinds coffee beans as advertised. What I don't like is it creates a bit of fine powder and with the plastic container, static electricity is also created. The fine powder ends up on the counter when I open the lid and makes a mess for me to clean up. Had the same problem with my last grinder that wore out after 8 years.

Burr grinders I've had in the past would have a small wheel that you'd use with your thumb to dial to the grind you wanted. Over time, the wheels became more difficult to turn because, in part, of their size and location. One this model, the whole hopper turns and grasping the hopper seems easier and allows more torque, if necessary.

I have had several of the smaller cuisinart grinders over the years and decided to upgrade. This is not an upgrade. The adjustable grind seems to be the same on all settings. Very messy and gets grounds all over when removing the bin that the ground coffee is in. Very disappointing.

We have had this product for just over a month. It has performed nicely ,doing what it is suppose to do grinding the beans. We find the grind consistent with the machine being surprisingly quiet during the grind. I was expecting it to be much louder than it was. Once we found the right grind, for us it is just between fine and medium we were set. Very pleased, nice product, does what it is suppose to do.

I’ve had this grinder for a couple months now and have really enjoyed it. It grinds the beans evenly and consistent. I love that I don’t have to measure.. just set it to how many cups I plan to brew and press start. I typically brew the same amount of cups every morning; all I have to do is wake up and press start. I can’t compare it to any other automatic grinder, but I think it’s great. I read reviews with some saying it’s loud and some say it’s more quiet than other grinders. It’s grinding… so yes it’s noisy— but it grinds pretty quickly.

I used to use preground coffee until I received this burr grinder as a gift. Now I look forward, even more, to my morning and evening coffee. I like the easy was it has to choose the right grind for whichever method of coffee you use. It also is east to clean . Highly recommend this grinder.

I like the fact that this is gravity fed, the ground coffee falls into the plastic container in front. Does a good job, but I’m still ending up with some powdered coffee around the edges of the container, even when I have it on course grind. However this works better than keeping grinds in a grinding chamber and pulsing until it’s the consistency you want.

Grind is ok. not accurate on the setting, measured 7 tbsp when it should have ground 8 tbsp. Now onto the decibels this thing puts out. My cat hates the vacuum, and runs away every time it’s turned on. When I grind my coffee in the morning, the cat runs away!
