This is beats the other grinders, I sent 3 others back. That really isn't saying much, if you want to get the full amount of grind that you request on the dial, you have to continue to stir the beans. The hopper is a small, ineffective vibrator at best. Like I said, better than the other ones I sent back. I just got tired of dealing with it. Someday, someone might make a good one.

I truly would love to give this product five stars, but we are on our third grinder. We do grind coffee daily, so maybe we're a little hard on them. Make sure you use the little brush it comes with to clean it. I love how it measures it exactly what you need. Static electricity tends to make your coffee stick to the top of the plastic cup but a few taps will fix that. Overall, it's a great coffee grinder and I'm sure I'll purchase another one after a few years. It's better than any other coffee grinder out there.

Love it! Fast and easy. It grinds exactly the way I need coffee ground for my Keurig. It is easy to clean up. I love the drawer the grinds go into. I had an older model which was a major pain to scoop the ground coffee from - this model makes it so easy and neat.

This is a very neat product with many different grind options from espresso to French roast grind with cup size options. It does a great job grinding properly in all settings. The only thing I would tell people is you have to adjust the cup setting for the type of coffee brewed or grinding. It even recommends this in the Instructions. For instance, if you’re grinding espresso you may need less cups ground because it’s finer ground to brew a cup of espresso. Conversely, you may need to grind additional cups of coffee for French press as it is coarser ground. I currently grind 6 cups at course ground to make 4 cups of French press coffee. I like my coffee Rich and dark but not super dark to where it’s bitter. This formula works perfect for me. You have to experiment a little for your personal taste.

This coffee grinder does an excellent job and cost very little compared to the many varieties, which are more expensive and offer an abundance of grinding options I would never use. My only complaint, and it is not a dealbreaker, is when choosing the number of cups you want to grind for, I found it inaccurate. I chose to grind beans for four cups, and when finished, I only had 12 grams, which only makes 8 ounces. I tried a second time, and got the same results.

I was attracted to this mill because of its capacity and fine grind setting. I normally grind my espresso where I buy the beans and then need to grind it finer with a small electric grinder to get it fine enough for my espresso machine. I was hoping to eliminate this process and only grind the beans once. It didn't work as planned, hence the 4 stars; however, the mill does a very good job of grinding the beans, just not fine enough, so I still have to go through the regrind process with my small grinder. Even so, I appreciate being able to grind the beans at home with a clean machine that only I use, so I feel my purchase was well worth the cost.

I like it but it is really loud while grinding. The reason we purchased it was to replace the Magic Bullet we've been using for over a decade and we wanted a quieter grinder. It does a great job grinding the beans, however, and I like that you can control how you want them ground.

Brand new out of the box the grinder grinds the same amount of coffee no matter what setting I have it on. Contacted Cuisinart and they provided me with instructions for a unit that have been in use for awhile. I didn't expect to have have any issues for a brand new unit. I shouldn't need to perform trouble shooting on a new grinder.

don't like the shrill sound. don't like the messy staticy bin grinds too fine( for medium). had to adjust right away don't like that you can't stop and start without resetting. don't like the slide bar to choose 2.4.6.8 cups ; you must carefully slide it to the odd number of cups. I've had very similar cuisinart, and loved it till the burr blade wore out. I will get another cuisinart, but not this one.

After using one of their old style grinders for years I upgraded recently to this one and it is far superior. The top will hold about one week of coffee beans for me and it is so convenient to just push a button and quickly get the right amount of coffee grounds. It allows a lot of flexibility in deciding on how fine you grind the beans and of course the quantity so after a brief customization act, you are good to go. It is a bit loud but that only lasts a brief time.
